Our church also maintains a 501c3 community development corp. to facilitate after school programs for nearly 300 at-risk middle and high school students.

Candidates must have a passion for evangelizing and discipling adults through relationship building, Bible studies, and outreach groups. Likewise, applicants must have the ability to shepherd both young adults and middle-life adults.

Job Description

Work alongside the lead pastor and elders in communicating and in executing a wholistic approach to evangelism and discipleship of women in our community.

Strategically pursue follow up communication with adults who visit our church and adults whose children attend our after-school programs.

Coordinate contextualized programs and events that are suited for the target groups that we most believe God has called our church to effectively reach.

Assist in developing and maintaining a systematic plan for assimilating everyone from guests to regular church attendees into the life and discipleship process of our church.

Assist the lead pastor and elders in fostering an overall church environment that helps people grow in lifestyles that demonstrate Biblical hospitality.

Wisely utilize social media as an evangelism and discipleship tool.

Participate in weekly staff meetings.

Job Description

The Middle Bible Teacher will be the spiritual leader in the classroom by modeling prayer and love toward students in a Christ-like manner. He/she will effectively plan and execute lessons, with appropriate strategies, for student mastery of content. The teacher will recognize all students learn differently and will implement motivating and engaging learning strategies designed to meet the needs of all learners. This method of teaching will contribute to students’ development as mature, able and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God. He/she will also manage /monitor student learning in an encouraging classroom environment that allows for students to grow in depth of knowledge. The teacher will engage in professional development trainings and collaborative learning opportunities for growth in professional relationships and growth in his/her craft of teaching.

Qualifications

The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:
• A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit
• A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
• Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for Christian Academy School System
• Agreement and belief that the Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind

The ideal candidate shall possess the following:
• Bachelor’s degree required
