Position Overview
The Manager of Business Intelligence drives business intelligence reporting strategy across the organization. This leader is a visualization expert who presents a story based on data insights. As the subject matter expert in business intelligence, the role translates business needs into technical specifications, provides research, analysis, and delivery options for effective dashboards and reporting solutions. This candidate provides well organized and excellent communication with business partners to build relationships and anticipate user needs. The Manager of Business Intelligence is a hands-on manager in charge of development and oversight of a team of BI professionals and is versed in all aspects of solution development including requirements definition, design, data source mapping and analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation support.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
• Experience designing business intelligence solutions for ecommerce, sales, accounting, and warehousing
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to flex style based on the audience are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Must have the ability to be systematic and detailed oriented without losing sight of the big picture. • Maintain and support data analytics platforms built on the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft SQL, and other cloud platforms

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Management

• Analyze weekly sell thrus, conduct quarterly business reviews to determine missed opportunities, shortfalls, and rights that are in jeopardy. Work with VP, Director on a business plan.

• Contractual Licensing process must be adhered to and completed for all 4 major stages of submission: Line Sheet, Concept/Art , Strike off/Pre-production & Contractual.
Internal Communications

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain, grow and develop assigned key accounts;

• Conduct extensive research for each and every account, including store surveys and trend identification to create a recommended product offering which is unique and will result in above average selling for your customer;
• Utilize your attained knowledge to passionately convey a strategic point of view;
• Build a trust and foster a relationship to be recognized as a premium supplier;
• Create a strategy and formula with a balance to maximize sell ins with exceptional sell thru s;

• Continually self-educate on where the consumer shops, how they shop, what they wear, how they wear it and the overall competitive market landscape;
• Maintain a current position on market trends, price points, vogue silhouettes and & sales conditions;
• Execute the Bioworld sales appointment protocol preparation for customer meetings and trade shows: construct targeted agendas, assemble creative presentations from design data base, select appropriate samples, pack and carry cases up to 50 lbs., capture all customer feedback and promptly relay in a structured meeting recap;
• Provide creative input to the design teams combining feedback from the retail partner and market relevance;
• Create and present recommended programs to the customer with a visual cohesive statement utilizing planograms, ladder plans, suggested initial mark ups / retail price points and projected selling;
• ALWAYS be more concerned with sell thru s than sell ins;
• Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and annual sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant, beneficial information;
• Consistently collaborate with your sales peers and design teams to ensure you offering the very best assortment to the customer.
Job Qualifications:
• Be interested, or well versed, in pop culture to identify with current trends and lifestyle brands which Bioworld represents;
• Have 3-5 years of direct sales experience - optimally in apparel and sleepwear categories catering to major retailers;
• Bring a strategic approach to the business creating profitable, trend right, consumer specific sales programs;
• Possess the ability to survey the market - then identify customer needs and transition them into actionable sales opportunities;
• Exhibit strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills;
• Have experience using Microsoft Software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and/or Database related programs;
• Recognize the importance of critical thinking with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects;
• Be able to work independently as well as within a team environment;
• Have impeccable presentation skills and have the ability to sell to all levels of corporate retail.
