We are an experienced team having built successful Managed Security offerings in the past and staffed by a multitude of cybersecurity organizations and veteran cyber-warfare operators from the military and intelligence services. We must make some money to do that, but our primary goal is to provide services that secure, not just ones that sell.
Our team has been around the block together and operate in a 24x7 environment where we manage emergency situations for customers. For this to work, we must trust each other. As a leadership team, we focus on building that trust through accountability, processes and personal relationships. We have plenty of experienced team members with and without families and understand that not all teams can be built outside of work, but we focus on teamwork to build authentic and meaningful engagement.
About the Role
• This is a full-time position in a 6a-10p operation with a (Panama schedule). Scheduled rotations for evening and weekend shifts will be required
• Under limited supervision perform real-time monitoring and analysis of security events from multiple sources including both host and network telemetry
• Triage security events to determine priority and severity
• Proactively review customers environments searching for anomalous behavior using the cyber kill chain, cyber intelligence, and investigative techniques

About the Role:
Bitdefender seeks an experienced product leader for Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Services to join our Business Solution Group. This is a key role for driving the go-to-product and go-to-market execution for the company’s Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service. You will be responsible for leading market and buyer insights, messaging, positioning, and supporting content development, demand generation, and field and channel enablement activities.
Successful candidates must have prior hands-on experience managing cybersecurity services products. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a current or former role specific to managing an MDR product and business or other managed services offerings. The role will be a spokesperson and subject matter expert internally and externally for the MDR solution portfolio. We value creative, out-of-the-box thinkers, unafraid of challenging the status quo, who are adept at working with cross-functional teams across the US and Europe to successfully achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the commercial success of the Bitdefender Managed Detection and Response product.
• Be the market expert for internal stakeholders regarding the service elements from the customer use case to buyer personas, influencers, and user personas to competitive landscape – transferring that knowledge to the sales channel.
• Track the performance of the business end-to-end (engineering, product, security operations, sales pipeline, marketing, and G&A), report to upper management and take corrective actions, as necessary.
• Working closely with Product Management and Development teams, you craft the market facing messaging and positioning, as well as collaborate on packaging and pricing.
• Inspire and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive sales traction and revenue.
• Define the go-to-product vision and roadmap for the managed services line of business, while continually staying focused on innovation and thinking strategically about competitive positioning.
• Directly guide your team to drive market requirements informed by customer/prospect and field interaction, market research, and knowledge of the enterprise IT security landscapes. Maintain a constant pulse on the service experience through close interactions with SOC analysts and customer experience representatives.
• In partnerships with various marketing disciplines, you create compelling collateral, demos, presentations, videos, blogs, and more, to communicate the value proposition of our offerings, and drive strong organic traffic leading across a high performing buyer’s journey.
• Support sales enablement content and delivery for internal sellers and partners including development of call scripts, training presentations, cheat sheets, etc.
• Be the SME and spokesperson for the MDR Service with analyst and press, as well as with customers and partners at tradeshows and other industry events.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of cybersecurity industry experience in B2B related to technologies, product management, product marketing, and business leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Endpoint Protection, Cloud Workloads Security, and Incident Response.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a cybersecurity managed service offering; specific experience with MDR offerings, MSSP offerings and enterprise product lines.
• Strong business management skills.
• People management skills, with proven ability to effectively work with global cross-functional teams and external customers.
• Experience with product and technology evangelism in executive level briefings and industry events, accompanied by excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Must be self-motivated and a proactive self-starter.
