We are looking for an experienced person who has a knack for managing an industry-level video production studio, directing live event production, and creating engaging content centered around complex tech products that's interesting for the... viewer.
The Studio Manager- Blackmagic Design Specialist is responsible for developing, shooting, and editing original material, and advertising a wide range of new pro-video and broadcast equipment.
Candidates should be able to take & give direction/ criticism and be capable of working in a fast-paced filming & editing environment.
This candidate will work side by side with the video production team to create a constant stream of content for social media platforms.
NON-REMOTE POSITION
Qualifications:
• 5+ years, experience managing an industry standard film studio
• 5+ years, experience managing a team of diverse creators
• Must be expert in all Black Magic Design products
• Working Knowledge of Black Magic Design DaVinci Resolve & Adobe Creative Suite
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the daily operations of a studio by ensuring that all equipment is working properly and all employees are performing their jobs effectively
• Reviewing scripts and providing feedback to writers on how to improve their work
• Ensuring that all studio rules and regulations are followed by staff and visitors including food, drinks, & cellphones.
• Directing all aspects of a production from start to finish, including working with crew to ensure that all shots are taken correctly
• Hiring and training new employees and overseeing their progress during their time at the studio
• Coordinating with department heads to schedule all studio activities
• Maintaining the studios inventory of equipment and supplies
• Experience directing live multi-cam event & webinars
• Understanding of studio set up with knowledge of writing lighting, audio, camera gear & configuration, graphics, teleprompter
• Keen eye for video editing & color correction
• Working with other Managers & Manufacturers to plan and get feedback for Manufacturer product videos & related marketing content
• In charge of planning & strategizing video & social media content with team
• Gain knowledge of all our products & overtime become product expert.
