What will I do?

The purpose of the Technical Specialist is to provide advanced technical network support to internal and external customers by responding to trouble tickets, assisting the NOC with Tier 2 troubleshooting, training, and overseeing circuit activation. Ensuring customer issues are handled quickly and correctly. This position will work closely with Field Operations, Engineering and Bluebird Customers. They will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of Optical, SONET, DWDM, CWDM, Ethernet, and IP products and services. Requires a strong understanding of Layer 1, 2, and 3 principles.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Work with LECs, IXCs, vendors, internal departments, and customers to successfully troubleshoot impairments and outages as required.
• Assist the NOC with Tier 2 troubleshooting on DWDM, MPLS, and SONET equipment.
• Read and interpret CLR/DLRs
• Complete test and turnup of newly activated customer circuits
• Train the NOC on DWDM, MPLS, and Sonnet equipment
• Monitornetwork performanceaftermaintenance and network/DC changes.
• Work closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure quick circuit activation.

What You’ll Bring

You’re the bird we’re looking for if you possess a/an:
• Doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD) or Clinical Degree (NP, PA, or RN) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as MSL. Experience in rare disease, and particularly in hematology, an asset.
• Product launch experience strongly desired.
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are imperative; ability to anticipate and adapt to change; strong interpersonal skills commensurate with the need to work closely with partners, investigators, contractors, consultants, and team members across functions.
