You work independently throughout your shift and are responsible for the menu preparation and kitchen cleanup and communicating shopping needs with the manager/owner.
Eventually this will morph into additional shits as a Brunch Cook, we will be launching a brunch program sometime in the Spring.
Basic kitchen and knife skills required, must have sandwich making experience, know how to cook basics like pasta, potatoes, make dressings, use a slicer, etc.
Perfect job for someone who likes to work on their own and needs extra money.
Must possess food handler's card and a liquor permit would also be a bonus. We may be able to offer a bar shift as a barback or bartender if interested in cross training and have some bar experience.
We have a great crew currently, small and tight knit and we all rely on each other to work hard and do a good job, looking for another person to bring in to help us all out. We have great guests, cool music and rotating djs, and we do everything we can to create a positive working environment.
We would prefer at least a year of experience working in a restaurant or bar kitchen with prep and dishwashing. Willing to train the right candidate eager to learn or get into the industry.
Pay range is DOE. PTO after 90 days, 50% off drinks and food, potential performance bonuses.
