The Heritage Group IT Helpdesk provides computer support to all the core business units. This includes hardware and software issues, connectivity problems, wireless/mobile issues, printing, and functionality questions. The IT Support Desk Analyst support is provided remotely via our Bomgar Remote Assistance and over the phone. Customer service, attention to... detail, and first-call resolution are top priorities at Tier I with escalation to Tier II as necessary.
• This position operates on a hybrid schedule, based out of Indianapolis, IN*

Computer Skills:
• Windows 10 Operating System troubleshooting and configuration.
• Microsoft O365 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Desktop/Notebook hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Computer peripheral and hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supports end users via phone and remote support tools.
• Supports Microsoft O365 application issues.
• Supports Microsoft Windows 10 on HP Desktops / Laptops
• Documents all work done through ServiceNow Ticketing platform
• Supports wireless connectivity for laptops and mobile devices.
• Remote support using Bomgar Remote Desktop
• Support remote connectivity via Cisco VPN client software.
• Effectively manages time to make sure calls are responded to in timely manner.
• Escalates calls to appropriate next tier support groups when necessary.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of handling customer calls.
• Participates in rotational after-hours support.
• Image computers and prepares them for the end user deployment as needed.

Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in IT support.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow a plus
• Knowledge of Bomgar Remote Support a plus
• CompTIA certifications or Microsoft Certifications a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for both computer hardware and software.
• Ability to work in a self-sufficient and independent manner.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments including daily tasks and projects.

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience required due to job requirements.

Cumulative of prior level plus following:

Experience managing Virtual Linux and Windows servers. Experience supporting a BeyondTrust/Bomgar installation. Basic understanding of Networking and TCP/UDP protocols HTTPS & LDAP connections. Desktop Services - Operating system & web browser knowledge of controller and target devices (Windows, MacOS); For jump clients, understanding of agents Supervise, proactively to prevent and resolve application system performance bottlenecks. Excellent troubleshooting skills within area of expertise. Understanding of high-availability concepts. Proactively ensure SLAs are maintained as well as systems are built for sustainability. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years professional experience required May include: 3 years of professional IT experience 3 years experience with at least one OS/hosting platform 3 years experience with monitoring and performance management of systems 3 years experience with Scripting development Networking knowledge 3 years experience with Identity Platform and tools You understand the technical concepts that are vital to do your job optimally and are aware of industry trends in your domain. You have a good sense of where to find answers and are able to grow your own knowledge both with and without mentorship. You have in depth knowledge of immediate systems you work on and some knowledge of adjacent systems.

Must haves:
