The Ideal Candidate:
• Highly organized, detail oriented and deadline driven
• Self-starter with direct experience in event marketing
• Can manage numerous projects simultaneously and work hand-in-hand with sales, operations and other members of the marketing team
• Receptive to feedback and direction and in search of constant self-improvement

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the day-to-day marketing plans
• Proactively plan and execute against marketing calendar for consistent on-time delivery of assets and executions
• Leverage current sponsors and exhibitors to market to their audiences of prospective participants and spectators to grow potential attendees
• Create programs for social, email and web, that sponsors and exhibitors can use to promote their involvement in our shows
• Execute promotional and sponsored emails through CRM
• Continually update event websites and provide weekly website audit/changes report
• Create content for event social media pages
• Monitor and engage with feedback on social media pages, surveys, and more
• Maintain asset library for marketing and sponsorship executions
• Utilize tracking and conversion analysis to measure effectiveness
• Generate reports measuring conversion and efficiency of sponsorship campaigns
• Work collaboratively across multiple departments on creation of presentations, marketing materials, media kits, web-based resources and sponsorship development programs
• Support onsite event marketing & promotions and overall event operations

About You:
• Must reside in CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MN, NY, NC, OH or WI.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in direct event marketing
• Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
• Desire to be a team player — no task is too big or too small
• Ability to interact and engage with marketing qualified leads and company stakeholders in a professional manner
• Experience in WordPress and other website development tools, and Google Analytics is a must
• Experience in email campaign management – knowledge of Sailthru is a bonus
• Experience with Adobe CC and other marketing design tools
• Experience in MS Office suite with high proficiency in PowerPoint
• Experience with social media campaign execution (FB, IG, YouTube)
• Graphic design skills and experience is a plus
• Passion for the outdoors and or motorsports is a plus
• Travel required including working weekend events
