The VP HR will directly manage a team of 6 and oversee Corporate HR Advisory, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition functions for our US organization (200 fte), in addition to having dotted line oversight of our HR teams in our Global Centers of Excellence (scaling up to 2000 fte in India and Romania) and Booking Holdings Financial Services (scaling to 200 fte in Ireland, the UK and the US).

This person thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They are energized by solving complicated puzzles and complex problems and excited to take on long-term, strategic and transformative initiatives/projects that have a broader, enterprise-wide impact. This role will reside in Norwalk CT, and report to the SVP, HR.

Responsibilities
• Translate business strategy into people strategy, driving solutions that meet evolving people, talent and business challenges
• Develop and execute on long-term strategy of HR initiatives that drive performance, foster inclusivity, promote talent development, and have a strong impact on employee engagement
• Leverage best practices across multiple and varying systems, processes, and policies that impact the overall employee experience at Corporate, the COEs and BHFS, continuously looking for areas to innovate and enhance
• Lead effective change management efforts while simultaneously executing on key initiatives and programs that drive change within the organization, collaborating with talent leaders across multiple business units/brands to reach a mutually-beneficial end goal
• Lead and leverage HR processes, driving key HR initiatives across multiple business units/brands and organizational boundaries, including talent acquisition, talent development, retention, recognition, organizational design, and talent management.
• Establish Global HR Advisory/HRBP Community of Practice across all of Booking Holdings brands
• Scale up the HR teams at our Global Centers of Excellence (COEs) through partnering with COE and Booking.com leaders
• Partner with the BHI Compensation and Benefits team, ensuring best in class rewards and recognition at BHI and the brands
• Advise and coach leadership on how to manage performance and complex and sensitive employee relations matters through early intervention and appropriate corrective action

Your Experience

The successful candidate will have had broad HR experience participating as a leader in a high-growth Global (technology) company. She/he will be an engaged, action-oriented change agent with both a passion and track record for helping build great companies with strong cultures. She/he needs to be transformational in her/his thinking, low-ego and a team player who is passionate about enabling business success, while simultaneously demonstrating excellent leadership and management skills by improving the HR function’s effectiveness.
• 15+ years of career experience with 10+ years in an HR leadership role
• Experience working in both a corporate environment and a business unit environment preferred
• Experience working in a COE/Shared Services operating model a plus
• Experience working in a global company with international locations and employees

Job Overview

• Reviewing variance analysis of actual results versus forecast, budget and prior year, across the brands and on a consolidated basis.

• Collaborating with cross functional teams globally to identify business requirements, translating to KPIs, reporting data structures, creating implementation plans, and delivering analytics and reports to generate advanced and actionable insights to help drive key business decisions.
• Building and/or overseeing the creation of report dashboards, OneStream, PowerPoint or Google Slides decks, charts, and other deliverables that support our global user base.
• Working with internal customers to ensure that reporting insights are communicated and used effectively.
• Being a change agent, using influence, education and persuasion to build relationships and gain support for difficult changes.
• Rethinking existing processes and designing a future state aligned with a newly envisioned operating model.
• Managing the preparation and analytics surrounding the statement of cash flows.
• Managing the financial packages and associated analytics presented to the Audit Committee.
• Partnering with Investor Relations with data required for investor presentations.
• Supporting quarterly SEC reporting processes, through automation of financial data used in our externally reported financial statements.
• Coordinating, developing, and maintaining written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.

• Optimizing reporting controls and processes using tools, systematization, and automation.

Qualifications

Job Overview

As part of the OCM team, the Sr. Analyst will play an important role in creating and delivering the organizational change program for a large-scale global finance transformation. resolving the situation; follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction.

Handle
all reservation calls. Process, record,
and follow up on any details relative to such.

Assist
at Front Desk as assigned.

Communicates
important information with the previous and next shift.

·
Document
maintenance needs on work orders and submits them to the Manager.

·
Understand
and be able to assist with hotel emergency procedures (guest evacuations, fire
alarms, etc.)

Perform
other duties as requested by the manager.
