Position Function
Under the direction of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, implement the University's strategic plan as it pertains to global initiatives. This position will advance the global orientation of the University as well as the academic excellence of international educational and scholarly initiatives.
Minimum Education
Earned master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution of higher education.
Minimum Experience
At least five years of significant, progressive administrative experience in international education programs.
Minimum Other
Strong oral and written communication, research, presentation, and public relations skills; ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines; proficiency in at least one foreign language; demonstrated global competencies; extensive experience traveling abroad; record of effective academic administration skills, including process and policy development and team building and sound fiscal management. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ability to travel as required to represent the University.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Earned doctorate in a relevant field from an accredited institution of higher education.
Preferred Experience

Knowledge of international education programs. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills. Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment and sensitivity to cultural differences.

Collaborate with the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and the Executive Director for Global Affairs to advance the internationalization efforts of the University. The Recruitment Coordinator and Special Projects Administrator will
coordinate and facilitate all recruiting efforts for the Department
of Theatre and Dance including taking part in the selection of all
students in BFA programs in acting, dance, design/technology, and

auditions (750-1000 students seen per year); track new majors each
fall and provide support to current students through their
individualized eight-semester plans; serve as first point of

Position Function
The Director of Health Promotion and Advocacy is responsible for
the effective operation and administration of health education and
advocacy programming and services relating to general health
education and wellness and specific university student health
including sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, sexual violence
prevention, and mental wellness. The Director is also responsible
for planning, implementing and evaluating education programming in
support of the stated mission of the University and of the Division
of Student Affairs. The Director monitors national trends and helps
to ensure that relevant outreach, educational programming and
resources are provided to meet the needs of the campus community.
Additionally, the Director of Health Promotion and Advocacy
provides strategic leadership and guidance in the development of a
healthy environment for students at Ball State University.
Minimum Education
Master’s degree in public health, nursing, wellness, health,
student development, higher education administration, counseling,
or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience
Background and professional work experience in the administration
of health education/promotion/prevention programs.
Minimum Other
Authorization to work in the US

Earned Doctorate in Health Promotion or a related discipline from

Position Function
The Residential Area Coordinator is responsible for the overall
management of a housing neighborhood housing 1800+ residential
students. This includes supervision of 2-4 full-time bachelors and
master’s level professionals, 2-5 graduate students, and 40+
undergraduate student staff. Additional responsibilities include
advising neighborhood councils, supervision of 2-5 hall desk
programs, and specialization in an ancillary area of the department
such as housing assignments, summer operations, IT Systems,
training, or Fiscal Operations. This is an optional live-on
position with expectation that those choosing to live off-campus
will be within a 15-mile radius of campus.
Minimum Education
Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum Experience
At least one year full-time post-master’s experience by August 1,

Collaborate with academic and University partners to create and
sustain residential communities that foster student learning,
development, and academic success. Develop and implement
intentional learning experiences through facilitation of a
Residential Curriculum. Participate in the overall planning and
management of a residence hall program to support student learning,
development, and success.

inclusive residential learning communities. This position must
demonstrate an effort to understand their individual and collective
role in creating inclusive environments and ensuring a framework of

facilitation of learning, (3) cultivation of community, and (4)
empowerment of people.

The Residential Area Coordinator is responsible for the overall
management of a housing neighborhood housing 1800+ residential
students. This includes supervision of 2-4 full-time bachelors and
master’s level professionals, 2-5 graduate students, and 40+
undergraduate student staff.

Support living-learning communities by encouraging participation,
reinforcing partnerships, and assisting in the implementation of
programs. Design and implement student success strategies and
initiatives for student success. Advise neighborhood
councils.

ensure healthy and safe environment for employees and students.
Build and maintain an atmosphere to promote self-discipline and
respect for others through upholding and enforcing university
policies. Respond to emergency crisis situations in an efficient

residents. Serve on an after-hour on-call duty rotation which
includes some weekends and holidays.

updating manuals, planning and implementation of student, graduate,
and professional recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training,

Position Function
The Residential Area Coordinator is responsible for the overall
management of a housing neighborhood housing 1800+ residential
students. This includes supervision of 2-4 full-time bachelors and
master’s level professionals, 2-5 graduate students, and 40+
undergraduate student staff. Additional responsibilities include
advising neighborhood councils, supervision of 2-5 hall desk
programs, and specialization in an ancillary area of the department
such as housing assignments, summer operations, IT Systems,
training, or Fiscal Operations. This is an optional live-on
position with expectation that those choosing to live off-campus
will be within a 15-mile radius of campus.
Minimum Education
Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum Experience
At least one year full-time post-master’s experience by August 1,
2023.
Minimum Other
Must be available to begin work on July 1, 2023.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be
employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in discipline
represented within student affairs administration or related
field.
Preferred Experience
2-3 year’s full-time post-master’s experience in housing or a
related field.
