Must have a working knowledge and be able to effectively use PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript and libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap to maintain, update, troubleshoot, and create web pages and the associated functionality. These tasks will relate to various business processes on both the front and back end of a high traffic eCommerce website that receives in excess of 2 million unique visitors monthly. Experience with code and database optimizations is a huge plus.
The primarty role for this position will be dealing with backend programming and maintenance of several 3rd party vendor communication tools. Working knowledge of various API protocols would be a necessity (SOAP, REST, etc...). But, there will be need to develop some front-end programming as well.
Each qualified candidate will be expected to complete a "hands on" test as part of the interview process. This allow us greater insight into their practical skill set, which is used to determine competency and helps to establish appropriate starting compensation levels.
This is a full time (M-F) remote work position with occassional need to be in office.
