Job Summary/Purpose
The Sr. Manager of Business System Functionality will play a key role in ensuring there is timely and accurate execution as it relates to achieving our key business objective of Timely and Accurate Bills. They will prioritize and oversee system enhancements across all of the critical systems enabling Billing to ensure timely and accurate execution to deliver accurate bills to customers. They will ensure the system is functioning as our designs desire and that controls are monitored for sustainability. This role will design and oversee System enhancements that will be deployed to close audit deficiencies that have been identified. They will partner with the business and IT organization to bring premier utility system process designs as we move toward delivering upon our regulatory requirements of new rate designs through future functionality. They will develop robust business requirements and user stories to ensure we are aligned with IT on the outcomes that will be delivered. They will create controlled test plans that will provide confidence in a successful outcome without any negative impacts on customers.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Develop a process to share technical business knowledge end to end
• Develop a prioritization governance for system enhancements
• Develop tools to monitor system performance and accuracy and provide transparency to leadership
• Partner with IT and M2C leads to search out premier utility Billing Excellence designs as we move toward future functionality for our customers
• Evaluate system controls are in place and monitored for sustainable, accurate execution. Escalate timely as needed for gaps closure.
• Provide performance transparency through metrics and reporting to drive execution of enhancements timely and accurately and with urgency.

Position

Position
The Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for Legacy System utility set-up and maintenance, user training and support, claims/ERA processing issues related to carriers and/or Relay Health processes. This role will also work with partners to identify, evaluate, and develop system procedures which are cost effective and meet business requirements. Function is responsible for testing/performing QA activities and providing details, recommendations and direction to Legacy Programmers related to any issues or problems detected. May plan and execute unit integration and acceptance testing and will work with Programming to update specifications for systems to meet specific needs. Work assignments are moderately complex in nature where system knowledge is required in resolving problems and making routine updates and recommendations to mitigate. May interact with functional peer groups at management levels and/or outside customers.
Core Responsibilities
• Performs moderately complex system research in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by Operations and exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices; combined with system knowledge to determine appropriate action
• Clarifies system set-up requirements and protocol and performs moderately complex utility entry and maintenance, as well as updates claims and billing processing codes and data integrity check/review
Detailed analysis of new client, billing data and files to identify potential problems or issues
• Monitors claims filed for internal customer to determine accuracy of content and claims acceptance
• Tests and performs QA activities on moderately complex system settings/changes
• Performs moderately complex claims/ERA processing issue research and resolution on user technical support tickets
• Completes moderately complex ad hoc requests as needed for clients/operations or troubleshooting
• Conducts moderately complex system support and training modules
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge in analysis and translating specification
• Working knowledge of 837 and 837 transaction formats
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills

• *Description**

Responsible for assisting with the development and execution of data mining analyses to enhance reporting functionality and identify data relationships and patterns. Supports AmeriBen TPA business.
• *How you will make an Impact;**
+ Programs and writes queries and reports.
+ Establishes knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
+ May be involved with new development of standardized reporting using the data warehouse, in addition to ad hoc reports.
• *Minimum Requirements:**
Requires a BS/BA degree; up to 2 years' experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• *Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ PC, spreadsheet, and database skills
+ Standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages preferred
+ Minimum of 2 year creating reports in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services or 2 years of experience creating reports in other applications
+ Minimum of 1 year creating SSIS packages
+ Knowledge of health care data structures and business practices
+ Minimum of 1 year managing projects using Software Development Life Cycle or other industry project management processes
+ Proficiency using Microsoft Office 2010, 2016 or 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Information Technology, Certifications and/or 4 years equivalent experience in IS/IT. Reporting, analytics or database administration preferred
+ Minimum of 4 years writing queries against relational databases or 4 years of experience pulling information from relational databases using other means
+ Minimum of 2 years of SQL development creating table, views and indexes
+ Minimum of 2 years updating, inserting and deleting data in relational databases using SQL queries
+ Proficient understanding of relational databases with knowledge in entity relationship diagram, data dictionaries and primary/foreign key relationships
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
