The Director of Sales is a new client partnership aficionado, someone who will manage the key components of the agency’s new business efforts, partnering with key leaders to increase growth opportunities for new clients who come to Cardinal looking to crush their goals.
• Manage inbound prospect conversion funnels. Take leads from start to finish including initial Discovery conversations, custom proposal presentations and SOW/Contract management.
• Qualify incoming leads by analyzing market strategies, competition, business challenges and capacity needs
• Monitor business development tools such as Lead Feeder to identify warm prospects that need to be activated with 1:1 outreach.
• Work with senior operational department leaders to audit & compile recommendations that solve business problems such as patient acquisition, MSO acquisitions and consolidation of brands, provider recruitment, and multi-location media planning
• Develop skillset to conduct audits & build recommendations independent of operational department leader involvement over time
• Deliver proposals with strategic recommendations to prospects in a manner that shows the agency’s value and unique service offering
• Write scopes of works with attention to detail, ensuring alignment with the proposed strategy and the expectations set with the client in the sales process.
• Partner with Sales & Marketing leaders and Client Services team to develop compelling case studies of our work that showcase our capabilities and results driven by Cardinal globally
• Build & maintain relationships with key outside partners serving the same ICP that could refer new business to Cardinal.
• Formulate and keep updated “common RFP questions” and pre-vetted answers re: agency network, financials, capabilities and talent structure.
• Proactively brings recommendations for refinement, improvement and sharing of the Cardinal pitch process for greater success and efficiency.
• Partner with our brand team on a regular basis to share insights on what clients are looking for to enhance our marketing materials
• Partner with Cardinal Account leads and our Chief Growth Officer to identify future upsell opportunities and execute intentional organic growth plans of signed business
• Works well in a team environment to co-pitch prospective clients with the ultimate goal of winning the deal, whatever it takes.

Reports To: Chief Growth Officer

Management: Opportunity to manage team of Account Executive & contracted BD resources

Qualifications:
• 7+ years of marketing experience, preferable at an agency with digital service offerings
• 3+ years of business development experience
• Healthcare background a plus, but not required
• Hunter mentality that loves to compete for & win new business
• Exceptional written communicator; Superior organization and project management skills
• Thrives in client meetings and is comfortable engaging with C-Suite Executives
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively across many levels and functions within the company
• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Familiar with sales & project management tools like SalesForce & LeadFeeder
• Excellent Word, Excel, Power-point and Keynote skills; ability to learn/use other information systems
• Management experience a plus, but not required

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

-Manage all things SEO: SEO strategy, UX, onsite content and link building

-Experience with on-site technical SEO, local listings & reputation sites, SEO tools, content strategy development, social media strategy, influencer marketing, digital PR, and link building techniques.

-Strong background in WordPress to make website changes, SEO optimizations, and troubleshooting is a BIG Plus.

-Comfortable meeting with clients & presenting a cohesive strategy

-4 years delivering creative campaigns that deliver actual business results

-A proven track record of SEO wins (e.g., designing, building, and optimizing highly successful campaigns, delivering volume and best-in-class).
