Role:

This position provides support to our Front of House operations and plays an important role in the overall daily restaurant services. Working during our peak times, this position will have a variety of responsibilities as dictated by the Restaurant General Manager. The FOH support will pivot between hosting, expediting and on the floor support and will require self-motivation and the ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently. The sum of these roles will include expediting orders, delivering orders, bussing tables, attending to, and seating customers. All facets of this role will be integral to the customer experience, therefore a focus on hospitality and strong communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:
• Expedite food orders as they arrive in the service window in a timely manner.
• Execute final garnish when necessary, according to our presentation specifications and deliver food to the correct tables and customers.
• Assist serving staff in by watering tables and refilling non-alcoholic beverages when applicable.
• Package all to go orders and deliver to the guest, bartender, server, or host.
• Ensure that all items leaving the kitchens meet our plating standards.
• Maintain a clean working environment in both the FOH and in the expo window.
• Clear restaurant tables in a timely manner.
• Return clean glassware to the bar and server stations as needed.
• Ensures an adequate level of plates and flatware are available.
• Monitor restaurant floor and tables to ensure cleanliness to a level that allows for effective game play.
• This position will spend a majority of time standing and will directly interact with customers.
• Handle general customer questions as a representative of our brand, in person or via telephone.
• Greet customers on their terms and determine how to best facilitate their request.
• Monitor our major customer entry points.
• Using and iPad, facilitate our waiting list including customer education on how our system works.
• Seat customers when tables are ready and ensure that servers know a customer has been seated.
• Monitor restaurant floor and inform appropriate staff of tables in need of assistance and help in clearing.
• Follow up with customers as needed if there is a delay in a server attending to them.

THE ROLE

The Production Associate is an individual contributor who works with our Magic singles inventory to provide Magic singles to players all over the world. This role is responsible for sorting cards, restocking and maintaining our singles inventory, and the accurate picking of thousands of items each day. The Production Associate must ensure consistency and meet both internal and customer demand to uphold Card Kingdom’s world-class standards for fulfillment.

Summary
The Community Host is responsible for providing a unique and fun experience by offering in-store demos and hosting interesting and engaging events for our customers. They provide a world class gaming experience that will make them return over and over again. Guided by Store Managers and Shift Leads, the Community Host is responsible for running genre specific events in the store.

Responsibilities
•Arrives for work at least 15 minutes before the event start time.
•Inform and encourage customers to attend events that are applicable to their interests.
•Develop relationships with customers and people who work with various gaming communities.
•Collaborate with the Shift Lead to provide fun and unique experiences for our customers through the creation and execution of weekly or monthly events.
•Maintains the store aesthetic by keeping tournament spaces clean and free of clutter.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to join our growing ecommerce company. The Server is tasked with delivering exceptional customer service in an establishment that encourages a rich customer experience around gaming and creative play in addition to enjoying quality food and craft beverages. The cook is responsible for the daily preparation and execution of all food items, as well as maintaining proper sanitation practices, cleanliness, and the rotation of food items. Role:

The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for assisting in managing the operations of the main customer-facing areas in the restaurant in addition to their day-to-day duties as a bartender/server. This individual acts as a leader among the Front of House team to meet and exceed sales and service performance goals set by the Restaurant General Manager. In addition, this role receives direct mentorship from the Restaurant General Manager and provides administrative support. While the position primarily consists of bartending/serving shifts, the Front of House Supervisor may also occasionally be scheduled to act as a Floor Supervisor on peak nights.

Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership and supervision of all FOH employees in addition to bartending/serving.
• Implements and maintains standards and steps of service in line with company values.
• Provide feedback, answer questions, or assist in front of house operations and employee matters in adherence with the company values and mission statement.
• Assists in retention activities including, but not limited to:

hiring, training, counseling, promotion, discipline, and termination.
• Ensures that shifts are set up for success by managing floor plans, phasing, start/end of shift tasks, restaurant orderliness, basic maintenance, and table transitions.
• Supervises staff adherence to food safety and health code guidelines.
• Provides administrative support to the Restaurant General Manager, including but not limited to updating draft lists, auditing FOH inventory, and updating policy documents.
• Acts as an authority on knowledge of food and beverage menus, promotions, and events
• Ensures beverages are prepared to receipt and properly proportioned.
• Works in tandem with the Restaurant General Manager to solve operational and service issues, and develop the problem solving abilities of the staff
• Provides regular progress reports to the General Manager.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid local Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server Permit.
• 2-3 years’ experience in restaurant operations with spirits, beer and/or wine service, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Genuine interest in developing a deeper understanding of restaurant management.
• Comprehensive food and beverage knowledge with attention to craft and local providers.

Role:

This position provides support to both our Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations by maintaining a consistent level of clean dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils in addition to supporting an industry leading clean environment. This position will spend 100% of the time standing while regularly working around steam and in warm conditions.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the cleaning and organization of all restaurant dishes, glassware, flatware and basic cooking equipment.
• Return all clean wares to their appropriate locations.
• Maintain a functional and clean work area.
• Remove trash and recycling to appropriate receptacles.
• Understand safe operating levels for all cleaning chemicals used and possess the knowledge to test levels as needed.
• Understand basic scullery equipment and operations.
• Work in accordance with MBH as well as current health code standards.
• Assist in kitchen breakdown and setup, when applicable.

Role:

Following a standardized process and established guidelines, the Grader plays an essential part in our card buying business and influences this area of our customer experience. With strong attention to detail the Grader receives physical inventory from customers who are selling cards, validates that the cards received match what was arranged to be sold, assesses the quality of cards being sold, closes the sell order and readies these cards for placement in inventory. Graders interact with customers who have special notations on their sell orders or if there is a substantive difference between the sell order and actual cards. Key to success is the ability for the Grader to quickly make decisive judgments following established norms.

Responsibilities:
• Receives and unpacks cards that a customer is selling, which sometimes requires special handling.
• Validates the physical cards against sell order in the selling inventory management system checking for both quantity and correct editions of cards.
• Grades cards following established standards (i.e. wear, marks, damage, & forgery).
• Update card grade in selling inventory management system as necessary.
• Finalize sell order in the selling inventory management system.
• Place purchased cards in boxes by grade.
• At the end of the day move purchased cards to the inventory area.
• Respond to customer notes that have been included in the sell order or if there is an issue with cards being sold that will impact the sell order.
• Prepare sell returns for shipment and take to shipping area.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work can be monotonous (doing the same thing repetitively every day) and challenging (every order is different).
• New Graders will process between 1,500 to 2,000 cards per day; experienced Graders will process about 3,000 cards per day.
• Current schedule includes weekend work.
• Periodic required overtime, normally near release events.

THE ROLE
The Shipping Associate is an individual contributor who acts as the primary provider of Magic singles and related product to players all over the world. This role is responsible for the accurate picking and expedient verification and shipping thousands of items each day. The Shipping Associate must ensure consistency and meet customer demand to uphold Card Kingdom's world-class standards for shipping SLA.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Work is highly repetitive and requires being on your feet up to eight hours a day

OBJECTIVES
• Pick items from inventory balancing speed and precision
• Ship orders using internal and external shipping software
• Verify and package order contents to ensure safety and accuracy of each shipment
• Execute against organizational targets for Shipping SLA

QUALIFICATIONS
