· Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
· Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
· Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
· Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
· Contributes to accounting team effort by assisting in invoicing, AP, AR and other accounting related tasks as needed.
Accountant Associate Requirements:
· At least 2 years accounting experience or comparable responsibilities
· QuickBooks or other accounting software experience.
· Work independently –with autonomy- under pressure with minimal direction and/or supervision
