Role Introduction
Cathay Pacific Airways is looking for an ambitious individual to join the Sales and Distribution team in San Francisco. Reporting directly to the Head of Trade Sales (West), this position will continuously seek to acquire new business and establish Cathay in new markets. Achieving and exceeding agreed Trade Sales targets though proactive negotiation and management of existing agency sales and indirect sales channels.
Salary Range –
• $79,176 – $119,460
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generations
• Acquire high value global and local trade partners as per agreed targets using an insights driven approach
• Actively initiate and follow up on sales actions, obtain sales leads and dynamically seek new business
• Engage in consultative and insightful selling techniques and services with a dedicated focus on new business development
• Actively assist in transforming the culture from one of relationship-based selling to an insights-driven smarter selling ethos
• Ensure strong focus is given to seeking opportunities in the High-end leisure market including renewals and repeat business
Portfolio Management
• Ensure management of the local relationship for Global Trade Partners
• Service the existing portfolio in order to maintain and grow the value (focusing on revenue growth)
• Make regular sales visits to clients to conduct presentations, seminars, provide updates on products and services in order to enhance sales opportunities and facilitate sales process
• Ensure that prioritization allows for focus on the top revenue generating trade partners and actively seek ways to improve the quality of the revenue generated by the portfolio
• Negotiate rates, commissions and contracts in a timely manner against a background of data and yields to achieve the best return on investment and have a mutually beneficial outcome
• Ensure that a cohesive sales activity and marketing plan is in place and managed with each incentivized trade partner
• Actively search for new corporate sales leads through the Trade Partners and ensure these are passed on to the Corporate Sales teams
• Be the airline’s ambassador within the portfolio to maintain strong relationships ensuring positive and prominent brand position and partner trust\
General
• Actively manage the cost of sales needed to generate the revenue within the mandated parameters
• Closely monitor the effectiveness of incentive schemes by conducting regular and timely performance reviews in order to maximize available and potential revenue and market share shift opportunities
• Actively promote the use of new tools and technology to enhance communication, convenience, efficiency and service experience
• Utilize Salesforce to manage new and existing customers and sales activities
• Utilize DDS and QlikSense to track the account performance
• Represent Cathay Pacific at industry and networking events

Academic Qualifications
• Certification in a relevant Sales business field

Key Responsibilities
Marketing
• Formulate regional marketing and brand strategy to maximise market relevance and impact

Role Introduction
Cathay Pacific Airways is looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to join the San Francisco Marketing department in a salaried capacity. The successful candidate will lead and manage all brand and marketing activity across the region with the ultimate goal of driving brand and business targets
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
• Formulate regional marketing and brand strategy to maximise market relevance and impact
• Render marketing support for travel, lifestyle and cargo business locally, including but not limited to management of lifestyle content on the website

B2B Strategy
• Orchestration of marketing and cross team resources to build and support deliver of cargo marketing initiatives and campaigns that drive brand awareness and solution sales in the region

Agency Management
• Work with agency partners to adapt global marketing material
• Manage the marketing agency’s performance

• Liaise closely with the Cargo Office to provide up to date information of freighter positioning when there is disruption of schedule
• Quickly resolve issues on the ramp as required
• Ensure safe operations are maintained at times particularly during loading and unloading of freighters
• Assess the cause of any delay and provide recommendations to the immediate supervisor on accountability for the cause and solution
• Monitor the acceptance and release of such special cargo as animals, engine, vehicle, bulky shipment, and odd-sized items

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Assist in recruitment activities including sourcing candidates, organizing job fair, posting job advertisement and screening candidates
• Support the full employee life cycle from hiring, on boarding, staff engagement, staff retention, disciplinary & performance management and off boarding
• Prepare regular reports including staff turnover staff, headcount report, hiring activities updates for management review
• Assist in ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements
• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
• 2-3 years solid HR experience gained from sizable multi-national company
• Mass recruitment experience gained from Retail/F&B industry will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Proactive, independent, well-organized and detail-minded
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office application and Chinese word processing
• Immediate available is an advantage
