About The Role
The Finance Manager will lead all regional contract commercials, financial reporting, process, audit, and control of the client account regionally. As a key member of the finance team, they will provide the Account leadership with high quality commercial & financial reporting, to support the drive for value, service improvement and change across the entire portfolio. The person will require excellent Client relationships and the ability to meet the client and CBRE reporting and MI requirements.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for preparation of monthly billing, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations. Responsible for monthly Accounts receivable and Accounts payable reporting for both client and CBRE. Responsible for client reporting including variance (actuals vs baseline) analysis and change request process. Responsible for CBRE and Client month-end/budgeting/forecasting process and assist in meeting all financial due dates. Ensure strong internal control environment with full adherence to SoX requirements. Consolidation and analysis of various reports for client and CBRE. Work closely with Finance central functions, Operations, and other support teams to ensure alignment and awareness of specific Client requirements. Prepare and attend quarterly client invoice validation and ensure client’s understanding, alignment and sign off on contractual obligations. Maintain documents repository for Client audit purposes Contractual commercial awareness.
What You’ll Need
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business-related field plus a minimum of three years related experience.
• Requires understanding of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions.
• Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Broad experience with other software is desired such Power BI and PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to connect with people at all levels across the account.
• Experience of working in an environment where delivering financial information within tight timescales is a pre-requisite.
• Self-motivated, has strong work ethic and adaptable.
• Commercial and contract leadership experience is highly referred.

• Being directly responsible for business outcomes for accounts/divisions assigned by the Senior Managing Director AMS or Global COO, DCS.
Business Strategy
• Work with the DCS AMS Senior Managing Director to define the needs of the business and
customers, embedding these into the business line strategy.
• Support the Senior Managing Director in creating a business strategy which meets customer needs
and delivers operational excellence and cost efficiencies.
• Monitor and measure the delivery and effectiveness of the business strategy, spotting challenges
and rectifying risks early-on.
• Support the Critical Few programs minimizing risk to the business and delivering change swiftly.

As a key leader within CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) client-facing business, the Energy and Sustainability Director will drive the global energy, sustainability, and utilities program and strategy for the CBRE team providing Facilities and Real Estate services for a global technology client. Duties and responsibilities
Lead a team in the development of a comprehensive reporting framework in support of the key objectives described above. Coordinate responsibility for data contributions across global client and CBRE partners.
Develop and present energy and utility insights and trends reports and conducts monthly team meetings. Communicates past, present, and future energy plans and performance through formal presentations to account team and client. Coordinates and monitors and reporting of energy use and spending trends to ensure consistency across the region/portfolio under management.
Champion global efforts of management including standardization, technical leadership and improving the performance of all related facility mechanical and electrical systems throughout the properties.
Responsible the team to implement new technologies, identify cost savings opportunities, initiatives, and engage the CBRE platform team on issues related to procurement and energy-related capital projects, renewable/carbon, and critical environments.
Identify and prioritize initiatives based on an evaluation of their life cycle cost and/ or ability to improve the client reputation.
Collaborate with the Global Sustainability Platform to identify and implement products, processes, standard methodologies, and technologies, to support goals of reducing energy and water consumption, and for leading the environmental impact of a real estate portfolio
Works with the client's Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications team to assist in the implementation of both internal and external sustainability communications. Maintain a library of industry research and provide internal reports on sustainability trends.
Provides strategic and technical leadership in the areas of E&S management and related standard operating procedures, predictive maintenance procedures, customer service & delivery level agreements and the development and review of performance criteria for outside service contracts.
Provides input to new construction and other capital projects. Works with client and project management teams to ensure evaluation approaches which explicitly include E&S considerations.
Carries out broad assignments requiring knowledge related to energy efficiency, renewable/carbon offsets and sustainability services offered by the platform.
Provides oversight and direction in conducting gap analyses for sustainability certification programs (i.e., LEED, WELL, etc.). Develops objectives, scope narratives and financial summaries (including payback analysis) supporting these certification efforts
Develops operational policies and procedures related to fit outs, leases, and defits that embrace LEED principals and disseminates them across a portfolio.

Administers and runs client account energy management initiatives for a region: a campus or multiple facilities, including ongoing evaluation of utility consumption rate structures, implementation of cost reduction programs, and assimilation of data for inclusion in benchmarking database.
Oversees account regional site operations and new projects. Identifies capital improvement projects and conducts cost analysis utilization in preparation of capital budgets. Travels to regional location(s) for projects management concerns.

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
