Because of the significant nature of this work, you must:
• Possess a four-year degree and have documented proof of your degree
• Be able to commit to a work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4pm or 5:30pm - 9:30pm
• Have a laptop or desktop with audio and microphone capabilities, high-speed internet, and an updated version of the Google Chrome browser along with a quiet, private place to work with no interruptions
The pay rate is: $18.00 per hour

SUMMARY
Provide leadership and management for the IT HPC (High Performance Compute) services for internal use.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining HPC services, staff, users, and vendor relationships. Internal HPC services are critical for Ansys's product development process, testing, benchmarking, and professional services. The HPC services currently include on-prem cluster provisioning, support, and maintenance as well as Cloud service offering from various public cloud providers utilizing cloud vendor specific products like Azure CycleCloud and AWS ParallelCluster.
Duties across these functions include but are not limited to project management, staffing decisions, mentoring team members, budgeting, customer relationship management, vendor relationship management, service management, and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and implement new systems and infrastructure related to HPC including Cloud Migration plans
• Be responsible to maintain operational performance of assigned IT systems including day to day operations, patches and systems health
• Provide metrics on team and system performance including systems availability and utilization
• Understand user needs and develop HPC strategy to meet changing demands include for example GPU-based HPC
• Perform financial analysis on operating and capital expense for assigned systems
• Maintain CMDB items to the extent necessary to support functional duties
• Ensure team-related activities are completed in accordance with customer SLAs and to corporate quality standards
• Work closely with other IT and BU groups by eliciting requirements, monitoring, tracking and reporting progress on projects
• Engage with third-party vendors to establish requirements, training needs and support
• Mentor and grow a high-performance team focused on providing high-quality support
• Manage within a budget and provide cost information to finance representatives as appropriate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science, or related field
• A minimum of 7 years overall related experience in managing a team, planning, supporting hardware and software systems, and working with third-party vendors
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management and/or team leadership and/or management
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technical specialists and to mentor their career growth, excellent coaching skills and ability to motivate
• Excellent knowledge of systems and practices related to HPC
• Experience managing production systems
• Experience with colocation providers and cloud
• Strong organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative, behave with integrity, and respond maturely to direction
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's Degree is preferred

SUMMARY
Provide leadership and management for the IT HPC (High Performance Compute) services for internal use.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining HPC services, staff, users, and vendor relationships. Internal HPC services are critical for Ansys's product development process, testing, benchmarking, and professional services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science, or related field
• A minimum of 7 years overall related experience in managing a team, planning, supporting hardware and software systems, and working with third-party vendors
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management and/or team leadership and/or management
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technical specialists and to mentor their career growth, excellent coaching skills and ability to motivate
• Excellent knowledge of systems and practices related to HPC
• Experience managing production systems
• Experience with colocation providers and cloud
• Strong organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills

As a key member of the team, the right person for the role is hungry to find new business. While there will be an... opportunity to earn inbound leads, success will come to someone who is curious and tries new ways to bring in accounts. The ideal candidate is passionate about the right mix of strategic planning and most importantly, doing the work (e.g. travel to shows, outbound activity, creating good referral relationships).
At FieldClock, we distinguish sales as helping farmers find solutions for their labor problems. The primary focus for the Account Executive is to bring in new business and hit your monthly targets.
Objectives of this role
Execute our Sales Playbook from onboarding to ongoing day to day sales tasks
Work with customer service and marketing to find the right customers for FieldClock
Master the skills of a remote sale via Zoom
Be coachable
Represent FieldClock externally and internally by being polite, helpful and on time
