POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing fundraising events or programs that will ensure financial growth by executing CFF best practices in compliance with CFF policies and procedures. Provides coaching and mentoring to assigned staff. May be assigned direct reports and/or participate in performance reviews. Carries out responsibilities in a manner that supports a collaborative, donor centric culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising
• Accountable for revenue of assigned line which would typically include a minimum of 2 priority events or campaigns as well as additional responsibilities and programmatic initiatives.
• Develops fundraising plans and budgets designed to achieve growth over prior year.
• Launch new events, campaigns, initiatives and/or programs as requested.
• Works strategically to ensure key fundraising best practices are followed and key performance benchmarks are achieved.
• Serves as a chapter role model for maintaining a consistent sales appointment calendar.
• Shares successes and best practices among volunteers.
• Engages in continuous long and short term revenue planning.
• Identifies, recruits/renews, and cultivates/stewards new and veteran corporate sponsors, committee members, team leaders, honorees, chairs, and volunteers for assigned events/campaigns/initiatives.
• Identifies prospective board members and individual donors.
• Ensures good volunteer placement, ongoing training, holds volunteers accountable to agreed tasks and delegates assignments to recruited volunteers on an on-going basis.
• Cultivates volunteers and recognizes their successes and achievements.
• Communicates national volunteer engagement opportunities.
• Renews and works to deepen engagement of participants, committee members, community members and sponsors.
• Networks with the greater chapter community as well as CF families, patients, volunteers, major donors and corporate sponsors to identify and recruit new business.
• Recruits, trains, manages and cultivates fundraising honorees/participants, team leaders, and committee members.
• Partners with Executive Director to identify potential board members.
• Identifies and assists with cultivation of prospects for Individual Giving, chapter events/campaigns and regional/national corporate participation.
• Develops sponsorship proposals and negotiates volunteer/corporate “best fit” for the organization.
• Conducts in partnership with key leaders, corporate recruitment events and post event wrap up and evaluation meetings.
• Plans, implements, and attends events and meetings.
• Seeks underwriting, in-kind donations and auction items for assigned events.
• Can have responsibility for onsite chapter event cultivation plan, show flow, bid/auction execution, speaker recruitment, etc.

Education/Service
• Organizes frequent community engagement opportunities to help inform prospective and current volunteers about the CF Foundation’s mission, fundraising events, programs, and services.
• Communicates about CF Compass and its multifaceted service opportunities to key leaders, event participants, care team members and CF community members.
• Works in partnership with CF community members to ensure that those impacted by the disease play an integral role in the organization.
• Accurately communicates and raises awareness about CF and the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at events and other Foundation-sponsored programs.
• Recruits community advocates and broadly communicates national advocacy messages.
• Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of care center staff. Refers CF patients and family members to area accredited care centers as necessary.
• Stays up to date on the drug development pipeline, educational resources and tools available on CFF.org for the purpose of communicating current and relevant CF information.
• Assures that community engagement opportunities, events, and meetings organized by CFF, support the wellbeing of people with CF.

Financial/Administrative
• Completes all required training and maintains current knowledge of all financial and accounting systems and procedures.
• Records and enters constituent information into record-keeping system to facilitate the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship processes of the Foundation.
• Prepares forms, materials and reports for assigned events and submits post-event follow up documentation in a timely manner.
• Accurately forecasts revenue and tracks expenses for assigned events.
• Carries out all financial and accounting responsibilities in compliance with audit procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• 5 or more years of fundraising/sales experience.
• Four-year degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• Good customer service skills.
• Strong volunteer management experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written) necessary in order to communicate diplomatically and effectively with volunteers, donors, and staff.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Responsible for generating revenue while implementing best practices that are in compliance with defined Foundation policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising
• Accountable for revenue of assigned events.
• Assists with developing fundraising plans and event budgets designed to achieve growth over prior year (primarily I and M events, community events and 3rd party events but may vary depending on the chapter).
• Ensures key fundraising best practices are followed and key performance benchmarks are achieved.
• Cultivates, stewards, and renews corporate sponsors, committee members, event honorees, fundraising participants, and team leaders.
• Recruits and trains volunteers for assigned events.
• Works to deepen engagement and enhance involvement of existing volunteers.
• Plans, implements and attends key committee meetings and events.
• Identifies and assists with cultivation of prospects for all chapter events, programs and campaigns including annual fund, major giving and regional/national corporate participation.
• Secure venues and negotiates contracts with ED/AED/Sr. DD supervision.
• Seeks underwriting, in-kind donations and auction items for assigned events and other chapter events as needed.
• Assists in recruitment of day-of volunteers and supports event logistics as assigned.

Education/Service
• Raise awareness about cystic fibrosis.
• Educate the greater chapter community as well as CF community members and volunteers about the program activities of the Foundation.
• Collaborate with volunteers who support chapter education initiatives and program activities.
• Seek out chapter outreach and educational opportunities.
• Work to include CF adults where appropriate and possible.
• Prepare and distribute CF program-related materials such as correspondence, audio/visuals, digital communications and exhibits.
• Make educational presentations to the community and participate in community corporate employee health fairs, civic group meetings, etc.
• Refer patients/families to CFF Compass (legal information hotline, patient assistance resource library and case management/technical assistance program), CFF.org resources, care centers, and local agencies.
• Promote participation in clinical trials to patients and families.
• Provide care centers and other agencies with information and materials; assist with family/patient education events; make presentations at care center/hospital meetings
• Communicate infection prevention and control policy, as well as legislative issues.
• Accurately communicates and raises awareness about CF and the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Educates community members with up-to-date information on research progress, access to healthcare, pending legislative issues on both a local and national level, and other services provided.

Financial/Administrative
• Completes all required training and maintains current knowledge of all financial and accounting systems and procedures including: My Workplace, PledgeMaker/Clearview, Auction for the Cure, Business Intelligence, and the CF Portal. Communicate updates and make changes as necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Supportive Care Programs is a critical role focused on carrying out the mission of the Foundation to facilitate discovery and development of supportive care therapies, specifically focused on areas of infection, inflammation, and immunology. This individual will work as part of an integrated team of scientists, business development directors, and project management staff to identify, evaluate, and develop promising new programs and guide established relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. This position will also assist companies in their interface with academic partners. The overall goal of the position is to assist the Foundation in utilizing its considerable financial and institutional resources to advance supportive care therapies in CF. The role will include seeking out and evaluating new opportunities, leading exploratory discussions, evaluating scientific merit, helping guide the development and conduct of therapeutic programs, and participating in contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements that deliver opportunities for CF-relevant programs related to supportive care therapies.

The successful candidate will have strong scientific knowledge and a track record in drug development in areas related to infectious disease and immunology. Knowledge of CF pathophysiology is a plus but not required. This individual is expected to contribute in-depth knowledge in the field of drug development and exhibit superior analytical, strategic and communication skills. Well organized, detail oriented, with a sense of urgency, this individual will be a team player who is comfortable exerting leadership through consensus building and identification of innovative solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with scientific, medical, and business development/investment teams to seek out, identify, critically evaluate, provide guidance, and cultivate partnerships with for-profit and academic entities, with the goal of developing improved therapies for CF.
• Assess and prioritize program opportunities including risk/benefit for CF population, technology potential, financial resources, scientific merit, and management structure.
• Survey advancements in basic/clinical research, understand their applicability to cystic fibrosis and identify and shepherd opportunities for assisting CF research and therapeutic development.
• Monitor and facilitate the advancement of currently funded CF programs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Administrative Manager (AM) works within the chapter and helps to ensure efficient and compliant chapter operations related to administrative, financial, and program requirements. The Administrative Manager acts independently in managing projects and helps ensure audit processes are followed, and chapter operations are efficient by providing support and expertise to the Executive Director. The Administrative Manager accurately communicates and raises awareness about CF and the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in collaboration with the chapter.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversees and ensures that the office administrative functions are effectively carried out by providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Development Staff and ensures that operations & events are being conducted in compliance with CFF policies.
• Performs a range of administrative details, including database management, preparing correspondence, forms, documents, and monitoring day-to-day administrative functions of the chapter.
• Assists with compliance initiatives and efforts.
• Assists with reports, email communications, and logistics for events.
• Coordinates with team members to pull mail lists and reports as needed for emailing and mailing campaigns.
• Serves as the primary liaison between national IT and operational support staff and chapter staff.
• Participates in bi-monthly Field Operations conference calls and relevant national calls ensuring information is disseminated to chapter staff members.
• Orders office supplies, maintains equipment, and ensures new staff have needed equipment.
• Opens mail and prepares postage meter reimbursements; travels to Post Office as required.
• Coordinates with Sr Admin and ROS to ensure multi-chapter revenue is processed efficiently.
• Collaborates with development staff to secure and submit venue contracts and permits needed for events as well as the ordering and creation of other events/solicitation materials.
• Organizes event-day supplies and works with volunteers, family members, and guests requiring assistance, including troubleshooting issues with mobile bidding, adding guests, registrations issues, and other event support.
• May manage chapter programmatic non-revenue initiatives such as Grampions, Advocacy and/or Care Center relations.
• Manages databases including CFF Auction, ensures auction entry review process followed, and then produces bid sheets and supporting materials.
• Answers the phone, monitors the chapter mailbox, and responds to inquiries.
• Carries out all responsibilities in compliance with Foundation policies and procedures.
• Reconciles P+L statement monthly.
• Calculates Fair Market Values in accordance with pre-event reports and processes event payments.
• Processes matching gift forms and invoices for outstanding revenue after events; prepares chapter donor financial and in-kind receipts; maintains chapter accounting files.
• Assists in submitting contracts and invoices through Workplace/Workday.
• Assists Executive Director as needed with year-end projections report.
• Responsible for volunteer and intern recruitment activities, research, advertising, and volunteer/intern orientation. Also responsible for the management of Administrative and event day volunteers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Minimum 4 years experience in a financial management, administrative, or operational role.
• Must be familiar with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a consultant to managers and employees on human resource-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. The position, reporting the Senior Director, Human Resource Business Partners, supports assigned business groups that are complex in nature, ensuring alignment of HR initiatives, processes and programs with business goals and priorities. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Security Director is responsible for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s (CFF) physical security operations, including implementing and managing physical security strategies, standards, training and programs effectively across all offices, meetings, and events.

The Security Director executes concepts for physical security and crisis management, develops related comprehensive risk prevention and mitigation strategies, and provides governance in implementing plans and processes across the organization, ensuring a state of preparedness both in a hands-on and enterprise level.
