Summary of the position - in one sentence: The Director of Operations for Chabad of Bucktown will report to the Founder/Executive Director and be responsible for implementing educational and social programming; building/running sustainable administrative processes; managing Chabad of Bucktown’s newsletter and social media presence.
Summary of the position - expanded description of responsibilities: In your role as Director of Operations, you will work closely with the Founder/Executive Director of the organization to implement educational and social programming and create sustainable administrative processes. Here is your chance to design, create and implement hands-on – building administrative processes that you will also run/lead, in order to help Chabad of Bucktown scale and expand its impact.
You will also manage the organization’s weekly e-newsletter and quarterly printed newsletter, run and expand our social media presence, including creating content and managing Facebook, Instagram and other platforms. This is an opportunity to be creative and use your sense of humor managing our social media, building a robust PR arm of the organization.

welcome into our Living Room facility in Bucktown and heard when you answer the phone and reply to voice messages.

• Answer phone calls, return voice messages, schedule meetings and follow-up
• Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
• Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
• Utilize computer skills to organize and maintain databases, write and process receipts and thank you letters

• Manage our online presence including marketing and SEOs
