Responsibilities:
• Preparation, assignment, and evaluation of Level
II student fieldwork experiences within the
curriculum.
• Oversight of the preparation, assignment, supervision, and
evaluation of Level I student fieldwork experiences within the
curriculum in collaboration with the Associate Fieldwork
Coordinator.
• Ensure the program's compliance with all fieldwork
accreditation standards.
• Serve as a liaison between Chatham University and the
affiliating fieldwork sites.
• Provide support to Clinical Fieldwork Educators.
• Recruit and develop fieldwork Level II sites as
needed.
• Assist the Program Director with the preparation of
accreditation/re-accreditation reports, & other program
reports
• Correspond & collaborate with others (including other
faculty, administrative staff, students, vendors, other university
departments, prospective students & applicants, clinical sites,
& the public) in person, & via phone, email, &
Zoom/Teams.
• Travel to Level II clinical sites for site
visits as needed.
• Provide oversight of clerical work by Fieldwork Administrative
Assistant related to tracking student requirements and establishing
and maintaining contracts with sites.
• Prepare occupational therapy coursework and participate in
instruction of students related to fieldwork and areas of clinical
expertise.
• Serve as an advisor to students, which may include academic
advising, community fieldwork advising, or capstone faculty or site
mentorship.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program
evaluation.
• Participate in occupational therapy admissions' activities as
requested.
• Engage in other department, university, and professional
service and scholarly activities within areas of interest and in
alignment with the department's mission.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director
Qualifications:
• Initial certification as an OTR (occupational therapist,
Registered) and current licensure as an occupational therapist (or
eligible) in the Commonwealth of PA.
• Terminal Doctoral degree (Ex: post-professional OTD, PhD, ScD,
EdD)
• Minimum of 5 years' clinical experience as an occupational
therapist
• Prior experience as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator or
Fieldwork Educator
• Evidence of effective professional partnerships and
collaboration

simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Organizes and maintains the department electronic files
relating to student files, accreditation, personnel matters,
budget, department promotion, and other requirements as
necessary.
• Assists in the organization and maintenance of all major/minor
checklists for the department and assists in the review and
accurate information on department website.
• Assists in the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of
full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Assists in the management of administrative tasks by student
employees, in conjunction with the Chair/Program Director.
• Orders office supplies and prepares purchase orders as
necessary.
• Organizes and coordinates program events such as presentations,
guest speakers, and student orientations in conjunction with
Chair/Program Director, and arranges all logistical elements.
• Develops and maintains Excel spreadsheets, creates, and updates
PowerPoint presentations and works closely with department and
university personnel on proper reporting of data and student
information.
• Assists and participates in department and university meetings
as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Chair.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of bachelor's degree, Masters preferred.
• Proficient in MS Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and
leveraging social media tools.
• Excellent written, organizational, time-management and verbal
communication skills.
• One to two years of project or supervisory experience
preferred.
• Ability to interact and work well with faculty and
students.
