• We are looking for EXPERIENCED, skilled, and personable home cleaners who truly care about the work they do.
• The people who enjoy cleaning and get excited when they clean someone's home and see their faces light up by the transformation.
• This position is primarily for Manhattan & Brooklyn.
When you clean someone's home you're not just doing a menial task and you're not "just a cleaner". You are helping make someone's life easier. Everyone does not know how to clean well, efficiently, and with personality- that's why our industry exists! Checklist Maids is changing the cleaning experience and how housekeepers are appreciated. We're not the average cleaning company, so we're not looking for the average cleaner. We are looking for a cleaner that matches our company culture of heart and great service.
As an Independent Contractor, we're not your boss, we're your partner. We bring you the cleaning jobs and you claim the jobs that fit your schedule. We have a big need for professional home cleaners who have weekday, daytime availability but are also looking for those with weekend availability as well. We are looking for cleaners who reside and/or can take cleaning jobs in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
If you’re looking to partner:
• With a company owned and operated by someone who has cleaned professionally themselves and understands the scope of home cleanings
• With awesome house cleaners who have amazing cleaning skills and truly love their work
• For a company that accommodates your schedule so you can spend time with your family when you need it most

Our growing home cleaning company services everything from studio apartments to 4-bedroom detached homes is looking to add to our team. We are a fun, energetic, and thoughtful company and we are looking for similar people to join us. We hire only the best of the best and take pride in our customer care to clients and compensation to our cleaners. We don't charge the cheapest prices because we clean thoroughly and efficiently. Quality is important- we give quality and we are quality. All cleaners are paid by percentage, not hourly, and all cleaners start at 45% of the booking price (before tax).
Our company offers:
• Great compensation as well as the opportunity to receive tips
• Flexible schedule (really, we don't just write it in our job description)
• Courteous working atmosphere
• Respect and support of the owner and fellow housekeepers

• Recommendations for safe, non-toxic products for our cleaners to use
• Safety rules and policies protecting your health
We require:
• A clean background check
• Driver’s license (if you drive)
• Reliable transportation (you will need a car to get to the homes or be comfortable traveling with your cleaning kit on public transportation)
• 2-5 years of experience as a professional maid/housekeeper
• Your own cleaning kit/supplies
• Insurance as a contractor
• Great attitude (seriously!)
• Dependability
