Key Objective

This position is responsible for the billing, collections, and customer service for major accounts (Global Casualty, ESIS, and Casualty Risk Construction).

Duties & Responsibilities
• Reduce aged receivables and unapplied cash by strictly following collections procedures with appropriate escalation. Calls and emails are sent within guidelines.
• Effectively establish account parameters in SBS within 48 hours of receipt of documentation for accurate billing, financial recording, and revenue recognition.

Description:

The Property & Casualty Risk Engineer operates within the Risk Engineering Department and is considered an integral component of the value added services that we provide for our commercial insurance policyholders. We are currently seeking applicants for a Property & Casualty Risk Engineer (PCRE). The PCRE professional operates within the Risk Engineering Department and is considered an integral component of the valued added services that we provide for our commercial insurance policy holders.

The position will report to the Regional Risk Engineering Manager and directly supports our Milwaukee branch office. This position will primarily service the state of Wisconsin with occasional travel to assist in northern Illinois. The concentration of business spans the entire state of Wisconsin. An ideal candidate would be located in the greater Milwaukee area or surrounding suburbs.

Description:

The primary focus of this position is to provide our underwriting team an understanding of a client’s operations and to counsel clients on best practices related to their existing operations and programs (employee safety, fleet, facility maintenance, business continuation, products safety, etc.). The individual will assist clients with identifying hazards within their facilities and, as appropriate, provide recommendations for improved practices. The individual will also discuss and provide Chubb’s Risk Engineering services to support a client needs and/or improve the account’s loss history (i.e. business continuation planning, employee safety training, safety committee support, product safety review and evaluate building fire protection systems).

The Property & Casualty Risk Engineer will routinely engage with existing and prospective customers. Comprehensive reports will be completed that evaluate hazards and controls for adequate risk selection, pricing, and application of underwriting techniques leading to profitable growth. Daily activities will include scheduling client engagements, processing client correspondence and inquiries, report completion and recommendation follow-up, and coordination with claims and underwriting partners. Our goal is to exceed service expectations and consistently support satisfactory risk selection and client retention.

Occasional travel can be required throughout the region as business needs warrant. Overnight travel may be required approximately 1-2 nights per month.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Qualified candidates will have a minimum 2-5 years of experience in property, casualty, and worker's compensation insurance risk management and loss prevention functions, primarily focused on evaluating hazards and controls.
• Candidate must have sound proficiency in hazard identification skills, with an emphasis in Property, General Liability, Products, Worker's Compensation & Auto coverages.
• Comprehensive understanding of existing exposures and safety controls for the following lines of business: property, business interruption, product liability, workers' compensation, and commercial vehicle. A candidate with a strong casualty knowledge base is desirable.
• Counsel and provide presentations to existing customers on a variety of safety related topics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.

Education and Certification:
• Four-year college degree with major in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields preferred.
• Possessing relevant professional designations or certifications such as CSP or ARM is highly desirable.

Key Objective:

The TPA & Client Services Specialist works with Chubb NA Claims and the Business Divisions to execute the multiple processes required to effectively and efficiently manage commercial accounts that have their claim services unbundled to a Third-Party Administrator (TPA). This role facilitates the critical relationship between Chubb NA, Chubb Claims, our Insured, the TPA and Broker to foster strong partnerships that positively influence Chubb’s ability to attract and retain business.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with TPA Account Managers and other TPA personnel responsible for on-boarding new business, servicing existing accounts and preparing accounts for the annual renewal process.
• Represent Chubb’s TPA Management & Client Services Team at internal business unit and external prospecting, stewardship, and advisory council meetings.
• Drive the understanding of all details of the program for the set up on New Business and Renewals including Service Account Instructions (SAI), ensuring the Chubb/Insured/TPA relationship is well coordinated and supported.
• Manage the TPA Claim Takeover process, ensuring successful transfer of all aspects of claim handling from old to new TPA. Coordinate and participate in calls as needed throughout the takeover process to ensure coordination between Chubb disciplines, our Insured, old and new TPAs, the Broker and others.
• Act as key contact for underwriting, claims, other members of the TPA Management & Client Services Team to resolve TPA service issues for on assigned Branches.
• Act as the key point of escalation for TPA related issues (E.G. Data, Funding, Compliance).
• Contribute to the strategic planning to continuously strengthen our TPA services and relationships.
• Participates in the evaluation of proposed new TPAs and Other.
• Support the approval and set up of self-administered accounts. This may include reviewing contracts, requesting, Due Diligence documents and evaluating data and other indicators of performance such as regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
• College Degree from a 4-year accredited University
• Experience in either TPA Management or Claims Account Management
• Superior organizational and written/verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-motivated learner that can work in a team environment, and the ability to develop strong working relationships to influence stakeholders to take action
• Five or more years of Property/Casualty insurance experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in the review and negotiations of insurance service contracts is preferred

• Minimum 8+ years of Accident and Health or other relevant underwriting experience specific to this discipline
