Citizen Lab is an interdisciplinary research group based at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, Canada. The website, citizenlab.ca, serves as a platform where they publish reports and research related to internet censorship, surveillance, and the impact of technology on human rights and global security. They focus on investigating and documenting cases of targeted digital threats against civil society and providing actionable insights to policymakers, human rights advocates, and internet users. By promoting transparency, accountability, and empowering users with knowledge, Citizen Lab aims to contribute to an open and free internet that respects privacy and protects individuals' rights.
