This contract duration has 2 option years remaining including this year.

This contract is for products and support delivered to the Space and Missile Systems Center, Enterprise Corps, Cross Mission Ground, Operational Space Command and Control Branch. The overarching objective of this effort is to provide the required expertise and solutions to enable the Government’s Kobayashi Maru program, which delivers capabilities to Unites States Space Force to facilitate timely, quality battlespace decisions. Kobayashi Maru provides infrastructure and enterprise services, as well as develops mission applications to enable responsive, resilient operational-level Space Command and Control capabilities for the space operations centers.

US Citizenship is required to work on this contract.

Salary range $100,000 - $109,000.

As Cloud Systems Administrator, you will support SSC’s Software Factory, also known as Kobayashi Maru. Kobayashi Maru is responsible for continuously delivering impactful software for space operations. The Factory’s mission includes the development and deployment of software for space defense, space domain awareness, and enabling data services.

You will become an integral member of Kobayashi Maru’s Infrastructure as Code (IaC) team responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining a reliable, secure, and cloud-native platform to support the Path to Production for space application, while becoming the platform of choice for SSC.

The IaC team operates within an Agile framework including daily stand up, user interviews, collection of user feedback, sprint/iteration planning, duration planning, retrospectives, executing from the product backlog and roadmap, meeting performance metrics, and reporting on progress and blockers. The IaC team is completely customer-oriented and strives to exceed service level agreements, specifications, and parameters. You and the team will develop, configure, implement, and manage the systems, services, hardware, and software that make up the entire cloud infrastructure. With automation and an ‘everything as code’ mentality, you will help mature and deliver Kobayashi Maru’s cloud infrastructure supporting 14 software product teams and thousands of users across the test, IL4 development, IL6 staging/production, and higher classification level stagging/production environments.

Requirements:
• Must be a US citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or IT from a reputable institution
• Possession of a current Microsoft Azure certification, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Linux+, Certified Cloud Security Professional, or equivalent
• Installing, configuring, managing, and upgrading operating systems, resolving system problems, and maintaining security in the cloud
• Performing Active Directory management; Identity and Access management; Linux Administration; creating system backups; and Windows patching
• Administering the cloud system through patches, permissions, and service deployment

Preferred Skills:
• Implementing new technologies and integrating systems/services in cloud environments
• Monitoring and analyzing network and server performance to match on-demand requests and analyzing server logs
• Defining and implementing policies for cloud-based systems
• Establishing connections to and from various cloud network types and managing firewalls

Seeking an Oracle Cloud Environment Management Lead with expertise in environment management for Oracle Fusion applications. The lead will work with both the implementation partner and business leadership to build tools, templates, and processes for ensuring Cloud Environment activities are of high quality, repeatable, and effective.

In this position the Oracle Cloud Environment Management Lead will demonstrate in depth understanding of Cloud technologies and recommend industry standards and trends. He/she will work independently, develop creative solutions to complex problems, recommend best practices, juggle multiple priorities, connect the dots between operational, tactical, and strategic areas, and lead projects and teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
• Lead requirements, design and development for Oracle Cloud and governance, including owning process flows, infrastructure needs and standard definitions for governance across a variety of cross-functional systems and processes to improve services.
• This role will automate Cloud CI/CD pipeline, manage build & deployment tools, and provide cloud solutions to improve the build processes forOracle Cloud Environment
• Review Cloud architecture, identify gaps and develop remediation plans.
• Manage Oracle Cloud environments both in non-Production and Production, work with Oracle to spin up the environments, perform.

o Work with Infrastructure admins to enable integrations with third party applications.

o Work with Oracle to refresh Cloud environments, managing outage and downtime at the global level and communicating according to refresh procedures.

o Work with Development and Operations teams to define requirements, solutions and deliverables.

o Assist to create a Cloud strategy followed by a detailed plan for integration with the new IT ecosystem.

o Define & maintain procedures and tools to deliver releases in a repeatable and scalable manner.

o Develop and follow best practices/methodologies for infrastructure provisioning, application scaling & configuration management.

o Engineer systems and tools to support the build, integration and verification of complex software systems spanning multiple hardware platforms, mobile platforms, and cloud-based services.

o Work with DevOps team to deploy and execute the conversion code to Production, monitor conversions jobs, review Production execution, resolve errors and produce reconciliation reports for business sign-off.

o Collaborate with Information Services delivery team to implement and maintain highly scalable build and release solutions, including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management, and support for all systems.

o Represents company in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large.

Requirements-
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years’ experience in IT including 7+ years of experience in DevOps and Oracle Cloud Engineering
• Has gone through 2-3 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations with environment management responsibilities.
• Experience in managing Cloud environments both in non-Production and Production, working with Oracle to spin up the environments, perform tenancy administrator responsibilities like application subscription management, setting up admin users with specific job functions.
• Experience of integration with IAM service for authentication and authorization, preferably OKTA
• Experience in managing environment families to associate deployment of Fusion services.
• Experience in managing health and lifecycle status of the environments.
