Job Description:
We are seeking an administrative assistant, customer service representative, front desk receptionist and kids after school program facilitator. Code Chef teaches provides coding, chess, music and art programs for kids.
Responsibilities:
• Scheduling appointments for enrollment and meetings with parents to explain the course offerings at our learning center
• Greeting clients and visitors to the office. Handling inquiries from our website, social media, and emails.
• Entering customer (parents and students) or appointment information into the company database
• Managing documents and records of the business, staff, and customers.
• Handling point of sales to take payments for the course enrollment and store purchase.
• Answering and transferring phone calls, appropriately forwarding messages, and following up on inquiries.
• Managing a courses calendar and scheduling student groups to manage capacity. Manage leaves and coordinate the availability of staff.
• Tracking classroom inventory, including ordering supplies, coordinating deliveries.
• Coordinating building maintenance work when needed such as putting orders for the plumber, electrician, HVAC, and Insurance claim.
Qualifications:
Experience in hospitality, store counter, point of sales, customer service, office coordination, and administrative assistant.
Must be good with kids to facilitate kids program.
No prior coding or camp experience required.
Able to manage multiple assignments based on priority.
Good to have:
Good time management and event organization experience will be a plus.
Experience with scheduling and payment systems in retail, gym, or tutoring facilities.

This assignment is for our upcoming STEM camp during School vacation Week ( Apr 17-21st). Great for science or math teachers, high school or undergrad students. We need STEM and Coding instructor for kids age 6-14. You need to be able to handle a group of kids. You get the program details and... classroom instructions. If you know some elementary school science and basic computers that will help. We will be using science models, music, and coding apps with touch screens Chromebook.
You must provide details for CORI and be able to receive text and phone alerts about the daily program.
The pay is flat $500 for five days camp, three hours camp each day. There will be 1-2 hour training to go over the schedule at Chelmsford center. You may spend additional time for commute and daily setup. Setup time is about 15-30 minutes each day.
