Customer Success Manager Job Description

CodeHS is looking for an Customer Success Manager to help support customers of the CodeHS site, and manage our relationships with school and district customers across the country and internationally. You will serve as the main contact for teachers and administrators to ensure they have a positive experience with CodeHS. You will work with customers all over the country and world, but will also work with many Chicago area schools and districts. You will also work closely with the CodeHS Account Management team and across teams in the company.

You will get a chance to work closely with educators and schools to facilitate teaching computer science to students all over the world.

Responsibilities
• Handle questions from customers of CodeHS
• Onboard new customers to CodeHS and learn about their needs to provide informed recommmendations on using the product
• Work with teachers and administrators on CodeHS implementation, ensuring they are successful in using the platform
• Manage customer accounts throughout the school year by holding regular check-ins via email, phone and web video demos
• Have a deep understanding of the CodeHS product and curriculum catalog
• Closely track and manage account data, identifying the current satisfaction of customers
• Keep customer satisfaction high to drive retention
• Visit local customers in person
• Travel to visit major customers in different parts of the country
• Communicate customer needs and pain points to the rest of the CodeHS team
• Work with team to ensure customers renew
• Work with school administrators and other stakeholders to improve computer science programs

Requirements
• Passionate about improving access to quality education
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Interest in personally learning more about coding, prior experience a plus
• Teaching experience or working in the educational system preferred
• Customer Success or Edtech experience is a plus
• Experience with computer science education a plus
• 10% travel - may travel to visit customers, conferences, or team meet ups a few times a year

Account Executive Job Description

CodeHS is looking for an Account Executive to help grow CodeHS and bring computer science education to more schools, districts and students. Your primary responsibility will be managing a pipeline of leads to increase the number of schools regularly using CodeHS on both free and Pro versions. You'll be working closely with teachers, school administrators, and school districts.

Responsibilities
• Build relationships with teachers and administrators to help them reach their goals for offering computer science and turn them into customers
• Communicate with school and district stakeholders via email, phone and video calls, including demos to advocate the benefits of CodeHS to potential customers
• Manage a strong pipeline of leads and maintain accurate data using our CRM to hit quarterly and annual sales targets
• Cultivate interest in upgrading among teachers using our free version
• Work with a wide range of stakeholders from individual teachers in single classrooms to high level district administrators
• Work closely with our Customer Success team, and actively communicate school and district needs to the rest of the CodeHS team

Requirements
• You are a great communicator
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passionate about helping students and schools
• 1-2 years of professional sales experience
• Edtech sales experience a bonus
• No experience coding is required, but you should have an interest in learning
• 5-10% travel, company/department meet ups are approximately quarterly and there may be conference travel
