YOUR VALUE
• Leading a team of accounting professionals with responsibilities for the general ledger, AR/AP, and all reporting systems while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal management reporting requirements.
• Managing monthly financial close in a timely and accurate manner, including preparation of reconciliations of all revenue and expense accounts, fixed assets, prepaid, accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis
• Managing revenue recognition and commissions in accordance with ASC 606
• Evaluating, developing, and implementing accounting policies and controls, including documentation and technical memos
• Managing annual audit and tax filings with external accounting firms
• Working closely with Sales & People Operations teams on client reporting & headcount analysis, including budget vs actual reporting, while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Managing equipment leases and accounting for operating and capital leases in accordance with ASC 842.
• Consolidating financial statements for multiple legal entities and perform consolidating entries.
• Partnering with department leaders to understand key issues and business drivers and collaborate with the FP&A team to maintain financial model and forecasts, and increase the efficiency of periodic reporting
• Managing international accounting for UK & Ireland and consolidation reporting

YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
• Interest in crypto and cryptoassets and SaaS business models
• Comfortable multi-tasking and working in a dynamic environment
• 7+ years of relevant experience in both public and private accounting: Big Four accounting firm and/or large bank experience preferred, CPA is a plus
• Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and implementations
• You can learn extremely fast
• Extreme attention to detail
• Exceptional qualitative research skills, including the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and quickly learn new spaces.

• Building distributed, reliable, and performant software architectures using Kotlin;

YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of experience in a backend software engineering role or equivalent.

• Proficiency in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL).
• Strong curiosity for decentralized networks and cryptoassets.
• Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit, and/or startup-like experience, capable of driving towards solutions independently while seeking feedback when appropriate.
• Basic understanding of how blockchains operate and their underlying data structures.

YOUR PURPOSE The Risk Management & Compliance Lead will ensure that Coin Metrics remains in good standing with respect to our SOC 2... audits, owning any future audit pursuits. As such, you will be ensuring that our team is compliant with all current policies and procedures as well as helping to develop new policies and procedures as appropriate. You will work closely with management to identify technical and operational risks and apply timely measures to mitigate these risks, safeguarding the organization's reputation. YOUR VALUE Developing internal company policies & procedures and controls with guidance and collaboration from our external auditors Managing our external audit relationships Managing the SOC readiness and attestation by working with external auditors and liaising with internal teams Ensuring the organization updates company policies and controls as the business evolves and expands Reporting to Coin Metrics management concerning the organization's compliance with policies and procedures Chairing the SOC Oversight Committee Communicating with employees to ensure awareness of their responsibilities with respect to compliance with policies and procedures (including instituting proper training where required) Consulting with teams to help them identify and mitigate risk Conducting regular internal audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations Taking action in dealing with noncompliance situations Maintaining and monitoring our Risk Register YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE Risk assessment skills, specifically as they relate to our operational and technical environments Good understanding of the requirements of a SOC attestation and a sense for how to evaluate infrastructure and technical environments vis- -vis those requirements Communication skills to ensure all employees understand policies, how to address gaps, and how to remain compliant Attention to detail so that no policies or controls are overlooked Problem-solving skills, as many compliance issues have no straightforward solution A bachelor's degree in business management, law, finance, business administration or other related field Five to ten years of related experience in roles with exposure to managing risks and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

YOUR PURPOSE Our Support Engineer will develop tools and documentation for our customers to easily retrieve the data. They will work closely with the product teams and they will be integrated into the API team to understand what is being developed and how our customers might want to use it. They will also work closely with the Sales team and create scripts for our customers to showcase our data and help close deals. A part of the daily routine would be analyzing customer data requests and writing guidelines and documentation to automate the process of getting the data from us as much as possible. In this role you are expected to match junior/mid level software engineering skills as programming and troubleshooting will be a big part of your day to day work. YOUR VALUE Developing our API clients (Python, R, Kotlin, JavaScript) and scripts to export the data. Writing documentation and guidelines with abundant examples to showcase our data and how to get it. Diagnosing customer issues and providing clear advice on resolution of customer issues. Creating flat files for specific client data requests (e.g., historical data or test data). Providing sample API queries to customer success and support teams in response to client inquiries.
