We are seeking a Sr. Specialist, Vendor Outsourcing Management to join the BlueRock Development team. The Vendor Outsourcing Management group oversees ongoing contracting, purchasing and vendor management in our Development organization, which includes functions such as Clinical Operations, Pre-Clinical Toxicology, Biometrics, Regulatory, Translational Medicine and others. Responsibilities:
• Support the end-to-end vendor management lifecycle for the BlueRock Development organization:
• Manage and track new purchase requests, open purchase orders and vendor invoices.
• Manage the contract review and execution process, interfacing with Legal, Vendor Outsourcing Management, Clinical Development Stakeholders, Sr. Leadership and vendors. Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Manage ongoing communication with vendors (such as consultants, CROs, trial support vendors, labs, patient support, etc.).
• Become an expert user of relevant IT systems (purchasing, contract management, etc.).
• Track and report on contracted, accrued and budgeted spend for key contracts and vendors.
• Manage and maintain Development vendor list and associated departmental trackers and repositories.
• Contribute to vendor management process development and innovation/process improvement, including implementation of best practices and standards for budget, vendor, and contract management.
• Support clinical trial agreement and consulting agreement contracting processes (contract and budget review, cost analysis, communications with CROs, sites, and consultants, etc.).
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or sufficient life science industry-related experience, plus 1-3 years of relevant experience. Experience with clinical trials and/or the clinical development process preferred.

• Competency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
• Ability to work with a variety of software platforms and learn new systems/processes quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
