Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel. The pay range for this position is $23.12 to $24.33/ hour.

In this role, you will be reporting to the F-35 ALIS Technology Management and Logistics Manager, the selected candidate will serve as a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Engineer within the Hybrid Product Support Integrator (HPSI) organization. This position will support the sustainment of F-35 locations worldwide – both foreign and domestic.

We are seeking applicants for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator (1 Opening) at our Atlanta Specialty plant in Lithonia GA.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Operates wrapping equipment when necessary.

Keeps stock and materials in orderly fashion.

Unloads and loads goods/products on trucks.

Documents materials unloaded and taken off trucks to the correct location.

Works as a member of the Shipping/Warehouse Department to achieve the best quality results.

Responsible for pulling job for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.

Assists other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance the workload, organize warehouses and perform general cleaning.

Follows rules and procedures relative to the safe and efficient operation of the forklift, also including reporting any missing, broken, bent or worn parts of forklift to supervisor and/or maintenance.

Drives backwards with high load for proper visibility.

Alert to any obvious defects of incoming material. Questionable units will be set aside for further inspection.

Stacks carefully in warehouse to prevent product damage.

Adheres to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

At least 6 months prior experience operating a forklift.

Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Ability to work in manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.

Ability to obtain and maintain PCA certified forklift license.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma/GED.

Experience operating a forklift in a production, assembly, pick/pack work environment.

Experience moving material not on pallets with a forklift.
