Responsibilities

· Relationship Management – Through consultative sales methods, build relationships with clients to drive advertising revenue and become a trusted advisor on all matters related to their strategic marketing plan

· Business Development – Using CoStar Group’s extensive property data, prospect new clients to drive sales and close new business

· Teamwork – Partner with colleagues across the LoopNet and CoStar teams to drive sales revenue

· Business Industry Acumen – Develop subject matter expertise in digital advertising strategies, commercial real estate and your trends within your specific market territory

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in XYZ from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.

·A minimum of 2 years of successful sales and account management experience within commercial real estate or selling digital advertising or marketing solutions.

· A current and valid driver’s license (or the ability to obtain a driver’s license prior to start date) is required.

· Satisfactory completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.

· Ability to regularly drive for extended periods and intermittently throughout the workday.

· Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas in an environment that emphasizes customer experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

CoStar is looking for a talented and driven Copy Editor to join our growing market analytics team covering the fast-paced commercial real estate industry.

As a Copy Editor, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing the written content by our team of market analysts throughout North America and occasionally copy coming from the United Kingdom. Our editors’ job is to ensure the content, be it news stories, market reports, LoopNet narratives or other pieces written by this team conforms to CoStar's style guide. It needs to be easily digestible and grammatically clean. In short, you will help enforce copy and style guidelines across all editorial functions and review CoStar’s analytics coverage for grammar, spelling, usage and style.

You will work with at least one other editor on the team and report to a Market Analytics National Director. This editor will also have a dotted-line relationship with the News team’s top editors.

Previous editing experience in a newsroom for a daily or weekly publication is essential. This role will be based in our Atlanta, GA office in an optional hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Edit market reports written by our team of analysts.
• Assist in the news-editing process by correcting grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors and making sure the content written by our analysts fit News’ standards.
• Edit LoopNet narratives, as needed.
• Communicate with the team of analysts in ways that help them communicate their written content more effectively and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Two or more years of proven copy-editing experience, preferably for a daily or weekly business publication with extensive experience in a copy-editing or proofreading role.
• Ideal candidates will also be experienced reviewing and copy-editing a variety of news styles and formats, including straightforward hard news, profiles of industry leaders and longer analytic pieces.

Joining the team offers access to financial specializations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and asset management, client contracts and billing, and revenue recognition. 

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in our Richmond location. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for full life cycle accounts receivable management in a fast-paced, high volume, customer centric, metrics driven environment. 



Responsibilities:  
• Accountable for improving AR performance though concise AR Aging metrics
• Identify and resolve customer issues related to slow pay or non-payment of invoices through pro-active communication with clients and the sales team 
• Drive high customer satisfaction, measured by CSAT and NPS, and retention levels through relationship building, professional and courteous communication 
• Become proficient in understanding of company A/R-Collections life cycle, especially related to root cause analysis and AR aging prevention within a 3-month time frame 
• Coordinate and escalate slow or non-pay accounts at 60-days thresholds with sales organization and AR Management for support.
• Balance portfolio performance with supporting occasional projects and Adhoc reporting requests

Qualifications:  
• Bachelor's degree required  from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• 1+ years of experience in consumer and/or commercial collection, billing, or cash applications in addition to customer service experience within a corporate setting 
• Proven ability to actively resolve customer inquiries in a timely manager and high degree of customer service 
• Ability to work within time deadlines by prioritizing workload and understanding the priority business outcomes 
• Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter and develop basic formulas (pivot tables and Vlookups)   
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required 
• Oracle Advanced Collections experience preferred
• Experience collaborating and communicating with other internal business partners 
• Strong focus and attention to detail 
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing
