The Associate Director, Global Renewal Outcomes will be responsible for spearheading the operational process of retention at Cornerstone OnDemand. It will directly drive one of the business' top KPIs - Customer Retention. The mission of the role is to manage and drive scalable, repeatable processes that lead to best-in-class monthly and annual retention rates. Key responsibilities include aggregating data to provide actionable insights to optimize the renewal process, including customer data, cohort analysis, customer engagement, communications, tracking, and reporting of results. A combination of strategic insights, cross-functional collaboration, and customer retention operational skills will be critical to this role. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Customer Centricity | Customer Success and work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, marketing, and data teams as well as senior leaders across the business and global customers.

In this role you will...
• Relevant experience in churn mitigation, customer success, and/or customer operations in a subscription-based business; bonus experience with Learning, Talent, HRIT, HRMS
• Experience managing a customer-facing team that optimizes process and outreach to make a meaningful impact on revenue metrics
• Ability to forecast and predict retention by analyzing historical, behavioral, and engagement trends
• Strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment driving customer engagement to optimize NPS, CSAT, CES, and retention
• Experience exerting influence with functional partners to drive toward cross-functional goals and outcomes
• Analytical and creative problem solver with the ability to focus on short & long terms goals
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple ongoing processes, and strong attention to detail
• Proactive self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels, including executive and C-level
• Passion for the Company's mission, positioning, and brand - to empower teams in business and spark change from the top
• Responsible for achieving our goal retention rates on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Lead & manage a team that employs creative strategies for churn mitigation, improves retention rates, and build a strategy that wins back canceled & former customers
• Project manage the monthly renewals process across all global markets - ensuring each cohort has a defined goal, forecast, and strategy for retention
• Leverage data to ensure accurate projections of retention rates and apply a data-driven approach to increasing the metric
• Cross-functionally collaborate across teams to influence and enact change

You have what it takes if you have...
• 7+ years demonstrated success in Renewal Management and/or Account Management and/or Sales/Customer Success -- ideally within SaaS offerings with a preference Learning, Talent, and HR experience but not required
• Experience managing customer retention and adoption of a SaaS product for global complex/strategic accounts/territories
• Advanced proficiency with contract renewal processes
• Experience building relationships with peers and partners
• Excellent customer success management skills; including sales, account management, consulting, professional services, and support
• Strong customer data management skills including sales, account management, and customer success metrics
• Personal initiative to identify areas of process improvement and efficiency
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong level of urgency, organization, and prioritization skills
• Strong process management, financial acumen, analytical, and contractual development skills
• Ability to react and adapt to potential rapid shifts in priorities
• Advanced global team management and leadership skills that promote high employee engagement
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic, collaboration, and quota achievement
