Verve Group is looking for a VP of CTV to join the VGI CTV management team. This person will work closely with the Executive team as well as the Product, Engineering, Sales, and Ops teams to accelerate the growth of our first-in-class CTV platform.
This role can be remote based anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
• Be the face of the VGI CTV business both internally and in the market.
• Ownership of the P&L for the VGI CTV business.
• Work closely with the Executive team to identify areas of growth and expansion for the CTV business.
• Drive the product roadmap for accelerated growth of all things CTV/OTT.
• Handle relationships with key strategic clients and help land new strategic clients.
• Negotiate various contracts and agreements with partners and vendors, keeping an eye on the long-term success of the business.
• Have the pulse of the industry and be at the forefront of the adoption curve of concepts, integrations, methodologies, and practices.
• Manage an existing team of operations experts to ensure marketplace and platform health.
• Work with both supply and demand-side sales and account management leadership to drive new business and maximize revenue from existing partnerships.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in online advertising or media technology, and at least 2+ years of programmatic supply-side experience
• Thorough understanding of the CTV/OTT ecosystem
• High-level relationships with CTV buyers and sellers
• Experience managing large strategic deals and negotiations
• Experience managing teams across large organizations
• Experience working with DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad networks & aggregators, ad servers, DMPs, and/or other optimization platforms
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data
• Fundamental knowledge of ad serving methodologies
• Familiarity with media formats and digital/mobile technologies
• Ability to investigate, analyze & solve problems, and clearly communicate results
• Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly

Work on an exciting area of focus for FOX in the Local News space as FTS brings new Connected TV apps to market for its local and loyal audience. The Android CTV Developer role offers entry onto a newly defined and talented team of developers dedicated to the FTS Connected TV experience. This role owns the codebase for the Android TV and Fire TV platforms.
As the primary Android developer on the CTV team, you are responsible for new feature development, enhancements, bug fixes, and code deployment. your coding skills with engineering excellence to deliver compelling and innovative local news experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with product managers and engineering leadership to scope, design, develop, test, and roll out amazing customer experiences
Strive to write secure, scalable, and maintainable code using object-oriented design principles and industry best practices
Maintain stable releases with automated and manual tests
Prototype to confirm solution approach
Debug app defects and in-field crash reports
Document analyses, approaches, and solution designs
Deliver engineering excellence with industry best practices (Agile, DevOps, coding standards, design patterns, test automation, etc.)
your experience and insight to improve team processes, tools and development culture
Ensure timeliness and quality of your deliverables
Take imprecise requirements and derive details for a complete solution
In-depth working knowledge of web-service and data-driven architecture

REQUIREMENTS:
Solid working knowledge of Android 12 for TV as well as Kotlin, Android Architecture components, Java Foundation and Standard libraries.
Current relevant experience developing for Smart TV, set-top, or OTT platforms
3+ years of professional experience developing relevant Android TV or Fire TV platforms
Comfortable with developer tools including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Charles Proxy
Demonstrable problem-solving expertise
Clear and thoughtful communication
Thrive on collaboration
Strong work ethic

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $145,000.00-175,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $145,000.00-175,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. The Director of Product Management, CTV / Video will lead PubMatic’s product efforts for our portfolio of Online Video (OLV) and OTT/CTV products. As head of product for OLV and OTT/CTV, this person will drive product strategy as well as ensure strong execution across their product portfolio. OTT/CTV is the fastest growing platform in PubMatic’s omni-channel portfolio and thus this role provides an experienced product leader the opportunity to have enormous impact and accelerate business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of successful products and a full grasp of the digital video advertising space and its evolution over the last 5 years. Our Client, a group of television stations in the United States, is seeking anAndroid CTV Developer Location: Los Angeles, CA/ Remote Position Type: IT Full time Job Summary: Work on an exciting area of focus for Company in the Local News space as Company brings new Connected TV apps to market for its local and loyal audience. The Android CTV Developer role offers entry onto a newly defined and talented team of developers dedicated to the Company Connected TV experience. This role owns the codebase for the Android TV and Fire TV platforms. As the primary Android developer on the CTV team, you are responsible for new feature development, enhancements, bug fixes, and code deployment. Apply your coding skills with engineering excellence to deliver compelling and innovative local news experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with product managers and engineering leadership to scope, design, develop, test, and roll out amazing customer experiences
• Strive to write secure, scalable, and maintainable code using object-oriented design principles and industry best practices
• Maintain stable releases with automated and manual tests
• Prototype to confirm solution approach
• Debug app defects and in-field crash reports
• Document analyses, approaches, and solution designs
• Deliver engineering excellence with industry best practices (Agile, DevOps, coding standards, design patterns, test automation, etc.)
• Apply your experience and insight to improve team processes, tools and development culture
• Ensure timeliness and quality of your deliverables
• Take imprecise requirements and derive details for a complete solution
• In-depth working knowledge of web-service and data-driven architecture
• Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Solid working knowledge of Android 12 for TV as well as Kotlin, Android Architecture components, Java Foundation and Standard libraries.
• Current relevant experience developing for Smart TV, set-top, or OTT platforms
• 3+ years of professional experience developing relevant Android TV or Fire TV platforms
• Comfortable with developer tools including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Charles Proxy
• Demonstrable problem-solving expertise
• Clear and thoughtful communication
• Thrive on collaboration
• Strong work ethic
DESIRED:
• Eagerness to learn new things
• Experience working within a mixed engineering organizations including local, remote, and vendor resources
• Experience using agile methodologies for software development
• Familiarity with client/server, database/web interfaces, and ad technology stacks for native mobile apps
Salary Range: $175,000 - $250,000
