What to Expect:
• Arrive at the restaurant on-time according to the posted schedule (PM or AM shifts) and assemble necessary items for the workstation (pots, pans, cutting boards, etc)
• Use the written mise-en-place sheet as a guide to chop, cook, and prepare ingredients for service according to Bludorn s standards and recipes
• Receive and organize orders as-needed to various parts of the kitchen including fridges and dry storage
• Attend and contribute to a daily cooks meeting organized by the Chef team
• Clean the kitchen and maintain an organized station both individually and with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Prepare the workstation for service, with sauces, ingredients, and other items cleanly labeled, organized properly, and prepared to the Bludorn standard
• Write a daily prep list for the following shift and present to Chef to approval
• Store any ingredients in the kitchen according to safety standards, including temperature standards with clean and dated labels
• Assist in daily/nightly cleaning of the kitchen area and walk-in fridges
Requirements:
• Passionate about food and cooking in a professional kitchen
• Have a background knowledge of cooking techniques (e.g. grilling, saut ing, frying, roasting etc), safe knife usage, and proper cooling/storing methods for both raw and cooked ingredients
• Understand portioning and measurements in both the metric and imperial systems
• Eager to learn, develop culinary skills, and be coached by your peers

• Deliver food and beverages to guests' tables in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to service standards.
• Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the meal, addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to legal drinking age regulations.
• Keep tables clean, organized, and properly set with appropriate tableware, glassware, and utensils.
• Clear empty dishes and used tableware promptly to maintain a clutter-free environment.
• Promote daily specials, seasonal offerings, and promotions to guests, enhancing their dining experience and potentially increasing revenue.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, fellow servers, runners, and bussers to ensure seamless coordination of food and beverage service.
• Communicate effectively to ensure guest requests and modifications are fulfilled accurately.
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences to deliver a personalized and memorable dining experience.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including regular sanitation of tables, chairs, and dining areas.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the well-being of guests.
• Bar Specifics:
• Inputs drink orders into the POS system immediately after the drink has been made, collecting payment from guests for drinks served
• Responsibly serve alcohol and have awareness of guests state of intoxication
• Anticipate guests needs and acknowledge guests so they know you will be right with them
• Complete all side work as assigned
• Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of the guest

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Excellent customer service and people skills required
• Active TABC and ServSafe certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
