The Senior Associate Athletics Director for Administration serves
as a member of the Director of Athletics and Recreation’s varsity
sports senior management team that provides strategic leadership
and direction to 35 varsity sports programs. Reporting to the
Senior Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer, this
position leads the administration of all varsity sports programs,
including direct oversight of select varsity sports programs. This
will encompass the supervision of head coaches and their staff and
is responsible for developing and promoting the department’s
mission within those programs.

Varsity Sports Administration
• Responsible for strategic leadership and direction of 35
varsity sports at the NCAA Division I level. Including but not
limited to assist with leading Head Coach Searches, providing
support in assistant coach searches, providing an annual
update/report on Varsity Sport performance, and oversight of
compliance with institutional roster management requirements.

· Implements and manages co-curricular programs, initiatives, and
special events that improve the academic and social success of
Native and Indigenous students.
· In collaboration with the Department of Native American and
Indigenous Studies and Residential Education, serves as program

Program Administration
· Implements and manages co-curricular programs, initiatives, and
special events that improve the academic and social success of
Native and Indigenous students.
· In collaboration with the Department of Native American and
Indigenous Studies and Residential Education, serves as program
advisor for the Native American House residential affinity
house.
· Celebrates Native student and community achievement and knowledge
through the facilitation of the coordination of the student-run
annual Dartmouth Powwow, graduation events, internships, and first
year student orientation programs.
· Oversees the production of the Native American Program electronic
communications, marketing, publications, and outreach
materials.
· Hires, supervises, trains and evaluate Native American Program
staff including the Assistant Director, Program Coordinator,
Administrative Assistant, student interns, and peer advisors.
· Works in partnership with faculty, administration, and students
to develop programs (lectures, discussions, film series, etc.),
which educate and support all Dartmouth students about the
importance of diversity within a liberal arts education and global
framework.
· Works collaboratively with the Office of Pluralism and Leadership
and the Tucker Center to provide anchors of support to historically
under-represented students, campus multicultural education,
leadership development, campus service, community service and
