Additionally, you will monitor and analyze the quality and competitiveness of the pricing after submission. You will assist management with client RFQ’s and take ownership of network RFQ support. It is expected that you are available to help in the development of other team members.

Principal Accountabilities:

The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.
• Act as the single point of contact for certain assigned customers regarding Rate card (Air and Sea) pricing and SPOT quotation requests. Accounts will be assigned as needed.
• Expected to handle and understand more complex SOWs and high revenue business.
• Read and understand scope of work, schedules and other technical documents provided by the requestor.
• Identify and quantify cost factors, such as transport, materials handling, inspection, storage, and labor expenses.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, clients and internal resources to prepare commercial offer.
• Evaluate cost-effectiveness or profitability of commercial offers.
• Help to maintain a database of historical and current pricing.
• Follow the SOP guidelines as it relates to Quote Log record keeping and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate handover of awarded business with operational teams.

Job Overview...

Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination. Complete required documentation. Performs basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle.

Full-Time: $17-$21 an hour

• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports
• Reconcile driver pick up and delivery manifests
• Responsible for inventory, rotation and inspection of freight held in the warehouse
