As a member of the Government Relations (GR) team you will help shape the policy and regulatory environment to enable Shield AI to build and deploy the world’s best AI pilot. You will work with the broader GR team, the product team, and the business development team to understand the product and business roadmap and ensure our policy and regulatory align with those roadmaps. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing an outreach and engagement strategy with think tanks, and other external parties as needed, to further drive our policy positions and communicating the vision of the company. You will also be responsible for understanding the current regulatory environment as it relates to unmanned aerial systems and autonomy, while providing support for Hill/policy maker meetings as needed.
Projects that you might work on:
• Support GR’s ongoing efforts to establish Shield AI as a thought leader in the industry, defense technology, and across the national security landscape through engagement with thank tanks and other external organizations as needed.
• Design and implement a think tank outreach and engagement strategy.
• Support, and in some cases lead, policy engagement with the Department of Defense.
• Liaise with product and business development teams to ensure alignment of roadmaps and policy objectives.
• Work with the GR team to engage the Marketing/Comms to ensure amplification of strategic messaging and heighten SAI’s public profile.
• Analyze DoD and federal contract pipeline and the legislative/regulatory environment, over 1-, 2-, 5-year intervals to understand the funding landscape to help determine viable solicitations to bid on and customers to engage with to build opportunities before they exist in coordination with BD.
• Maintain an ongoing strategic understanding of the current environment based off of market analysis and engagement with policy makers as well as a broad understanding of regulations governing unmanned aerial systems and autonomy.
• Establish and maintain a repository of documentation related to contract vehicles, BD programs and other relevant information for internal and external use.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 10 years’ work experience
• Ability to travel as needed

Exiger Government Solutions is seeking an experienced professional to manage the deployment of Exiger’s Supply Chain Risk Management software solutions to Defense Industrial Base companies and Government Agencies, with specific focus on the Exiger products that identify and address pharmaceutical supply chain challenges. A deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and... pharmaceutical supply chain management is a plus.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of project management experience overseeing complex technical implementations at Government and Defense Industrial Base customers
• 2-3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or working on supply chain issues related to pharmaceuticals in Government agencies, e.g., HHS, FDA, DLA CPOC.
• Ability to contribute to Exiger’s Pharmaceutical Provenance Solution design sessions and provide input on GUI design and reporting capability.
• Comfort with participating in regular internal and external program reviews, design sessions and customer briefings.
• Render assistance with sales calls or promotional activities intended to raise the level of industry awareness on Exiger’s products to include the Pharmaceutical Provenance Solution.
• Contribute to all written customer reports and presentations as required.
• Public speaking and presentations to conferences and other industry events
• Comfort with demonstrating SaaS solutions (e.g., ability to learn, demonstrate, and train customers on Exiger’s supply chain solutions)
• Sales and marketing experience
• Must have an active security clearance or be able to obtain one.
