• Analyze and interpret test data to improve and qualify engines meeting client specifications and/or research objectives
• Generate or modify 3-D models, component drawings, assembly drawings
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis
• 2+ years of experience with CREO (preferred), SOLIDWORKS, NX, or CATIA
• Familiarity with tolerance, GD&T(ASME Y14.5) and design for manufacturability
• Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering or related field
• Familiarity with Windchill or related PLM software
• Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience with commercially available FEA software such as ANSYS(preferred), Nastran, Abaqus
• General Understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, heat treating)
• General system level knowledge of mechanical and testing propulsion hardware
