This role will ensure the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas of the operation in accordance with the individual work area requirements. You will need a strong work ethic and real attention to detail. It’s a physical job, in a busy warehouse hub that’s always working at full speed, so you’ll be on the go throughout your shift. About the role.

Due to continued business growth, we have an opening for a Customer Development Manager to join the sales team within the Southeast region where they will help drive the business growth agenda across the region and contribute to the business’s overall objectives. • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement bodies, print management companies and mailing houses to ensure the generation of an ongoing supply of sales leads. Source additional leads through own research and industry knowledge.
• Prepare and present new business sales propositions to customer leads and prospects, progressing opportunities through the complete sales process from lead through to established trading customer.
• Identify and establish contacts and relationships with a range of decision makers within customer prospects to build support for sales proposals. Identify benefit opportunities and address potential concerns to maximise sales success.
• Working to strict deadlines to ensure completion of tenders, onboarding of customers to agreed implementation plans, and delivery of company targeted revenues.
• Regular liaison with Customer Production Managers and Site Managers on a national basis to review/discuss capabilities to onboard prospects.
• Accurately model operational costs and customer profitability of opportunities to ensure profitable bid pricing.
• Influence customer requirements and expectations as necessary to reduce the ongoing management and administrative burden of new and existing business.
• Carry out contract negotiations, price reviews and build and maintain strong trading relationships whilst monitoring early life trading patterns.
• Effectively solve problems and manage risk to satisfy customer bespoke requirements to ensure winning and retention of customers and achievement of targets and KPIs.

continued business growth, we have an opening for an experienced... Sales Executive
to join the National Sales team for the west midlands., where they will be
field based and responsible for driving performance increases to the sales
revenue, profitability, and product uptake.

Working closely with the regional’s operational leadership team, the role
holder will identify, assess, pursue, and win business opportunities within the
region, ensuring accounts are appropriate and attractive for both DHL Parcel
and the Customer. They will need to maintain a thorough knowledge of the products
available and remain abreast of all new products developments to enable
successful matching between the customers requirements and products delivered.

As a Field Sales Executive, you will need to be able to identify who the
decision makers will be and build the relationships required to successfully
win business. You will need to be able to identify when an opportunity is unsuitable
and only focus on those opportunities that align with the scope and scale for
your sector.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experienced gained
within a core sales environment and naturally find motivation in achieving
sales targets. Its advantageous to have previously held a field-based position,
whereas it is a requirement to have the ability to communicate, engage and to
interpret the needs of the customer. Deep understanding of the end-to-end
business development lifecycle is also a must have.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include the following:
• To identify and on-board new business opportunities to
contribute towards sales targets and KPI’s.
• Take ownership for the designated territory, ensuring
all potential opportunities are identified and assessed.
• Scheduled visits to decision makers in prospect
companies, using learned skills and personal knowledge and experience to close
business.
• Market mapping activities to identify potential new

• Be a product expert, answering customer questions
relating to the product specifications and pricing.
• Confidently explain and negotiates our commercial
offering.
• Accurately and efficiently collate and record customer
information into our CRM tool.
• Consistently onboard new clients through maintaining a
pipeline of prospect customers.
• Maintain an excellent working knowledge of all DHL
products and services sold and keeps current on industry developments.
