About The Role
We are seeking a Remote Accounting Manager (full time role) to join our exciting consulting firm, that specializes in providing Accounting & Finance support for early stage high growth startups.
We are looking for a self driven Manager who will take a front seat approach in identifying the reporting needs and ensuring the accuracy of all accounting & financial management reports.
Responsibilities
• Accounting management - Check books and banks daily, ensure all accounts (including intercompany accounts) are reconciled and books are closed properly.
• Book adjusting journal entries and maintaining accuracy with GAAP and accrual based accounting
• Audits - Assist clients through the audit process including coordinating with internal staff, client employees, and external auditors
• Employee Payroll - Manage the payroll process and ensure accuracy and make changes as necessary.
• Contract Management - Ensure all contractual terms are translated properly into payables/receivables.
• Reporting - Internal
• Manage employee benefits administration.
• Managing invoices, cash flow, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Reconciling business transactions & auditing business expenses
• Monitoring balance sheets and P&L
• Responsible for all regular and ad hoc financial management reporting, and ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of the reports

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting

• 3+ years of experience public accounting and/or corporate accounting and related fields
• Strong experience with Excel

Manage and update the HSIA related installation documentation, providing the as- built necessary to effectively support the customers HSIA equipment, pre and post installation. This documentation includes the network drawing prepared in industry standard applications, network equipment port maps and trouble ticket updates on the Business Access Portal (BAP) Lead onsite Single Digits field technicians and/or subcontractors, as required to ensure installations are completed on schedule and according to the Single Digits standards and SOW to ensure customer satisfaction. Test and QA implemented networks to ensure optimal functionality. Survey properties for the installation of a HSIA Wireless networks, including but not limited to signal strength testing, evaluating cabling requirements, labor requirements, equipment needs, physical site needs, etc. Stay current on new technologies and changes in the industry. Willingness to travel on occasion if requested locally and to customer sites which may require overnight stays. Work off-hours shift from normal business hours as needed to support implementations. Be responsive to internal changes in standards, solutions, and deployment processes. Assist in the ongoing development of tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in deployments. Audit inbound design specifications, identifying technical risks and making recommendations to mitigate or resolve any issues. Assist with execution of conference, breakfix, and NOC tasks and projects as requested. Communicate effectively (verbal, written) with internal & external customers. CCNA Expert network administration and support skills. Fluent understanding of large network implementations, network protocols, and network topologies Experience in complex, structured cabling jobs that include interior/exterior installations, terminating and testing Cat5/Cat6 and Fiber Optic cabling Experience with configuring and installing Routers, Firewalls, Servers, Layer2/3 Ethernet Switches and Wireless Access Points in environments of varying complexity. Excellent networking skills Excellent in troubleshooting complex problems in various network manufacturer equipment types Experience with computers and software programs such as email, Word, Excel, Visio, AutoCAD and other Industry recognized applications Great prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task, while working under tight time constraints Experience with WIFI Survey and Predictive Analysis Software and tools such as Air Magnet and or Ekahau Site Survey, Fluke WIFI Testers are a plus.
