Your Role Accountabilities...
The Social Media Coordinator (Temporary) is responsible for managing and publishing best-in-class digital content experiences for DC Entertainment under the direction of the Director of Social Media Strategy. This contract position can work remotely but must work during PST business hours.
This person will coordinate the entire project lifecycle and create high-quality content that engages and entertains our fans while meeting growth and engagement goals. This person will partner with teams in Marketing, Press, Talent, Video Production, and Franchise Management and Development. This position will work closely across various internal stakeholders and teams to ensure online content extends the brand, communicates a coherent message in sync with DC initiatives, and drives viewers/engagement across key social platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) and O&O platforms.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of daily publishing experience via CMS (Sprinklr preferred!) for a well-known entertainment or media brand, network, or audience-facing client. Experience collaborating and coordinating with external social agencies also a plus.
As a Social Media Coordinator, You Will
• Promote DC Entertainment’s content portfolio using engaging social media content, campaigns, and online events
• Build awareness, buzz, and affinity for the DC IP and DC brand on social media
• Serve as the digital media expert for assigned priorities and be responsible for publishing all content onto digital/social platforms around those initiatives
• Craft original content for DC social handles in support for key priorities

• Pro-active, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Strong quantitative analysis and creative problem-solving skills; independent learner with lots of curiosity
• Able to prioritize and successfully complete multiple, ongoing projects in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
• Broad knowledge of pop culture, entertainment, media, and associated zeitgeists
• Passionate about exploring new formats on digital/social platforms, particularly with video and other social-native formats!

The Innovation and Discovery in the Acute and Emergency Sciences Vice Chair (IDEAS VC) will provide vision and leadership for the department’s continued journey as a national leader in innovation and discovery. The IDEAS VC will advise and work closely with the Department Chair and Directors on our innovation units (Health DesignED, Brain Research Lab [BRL], Emergency Neurosciences Laboratory and clinical trials group [ENL], Injury Prevention Research Center at Emory and Grady (IPRCE-G), and the Director or EM Research), hospital medical directors, directors of each strategic initiative (Prehospital Care-Disaster Medicine – Flight and Tactical Medicine, Toxicology, Global Health, US, UME, GME, Fellowships) and faculty to advance research, innovation and discovery across the entire emergency care service line. The IDEAS VC will also partner with the school of medicine (SOM), Emory Health Care (EHC), Core labs, and facilities to align strategic research goals and metrics. MINIMUM Requirements
Education:

Experience:

The Emory Department of Emergency Medicine is a national leader in innovation and discovery. Our aligned vision is to advance all of our programs from excellence to eminence, including our research mission. We are excited about emergency medicine’s future and believe that we must be the leader in reframing and redesigning the future of emergency medicine through innovative models of care, novel educational frameworks for medical students, residents, staff and faculty, and builds the fundamental research basis for our specialty, discovering and developing new technologies and therapies that improve equitable access to high quality care, provides hope and saves lives.
The Innovation and Discovery in the Acute and Emergency Sciences Vice Chair (IDEAS VC) will provide vision and leadership for the department’s continued journey as a national leader in innovation and discovery. The IDEAS VC will advise and work closely with the Department Chair and Directors on our innovation units (Health DesignED, Brain Research Lab [BRL], Emergency Neurosciences Laboratory and clinical trials group [ENL], Injury Prevention Research Center at Emory and Grady (IPRCE-G), and the Director or EM Research), hospital medical directors, directors of each strategic initiative (Prehospital Care-Disaster Medicine – Flight and Tactical Medicine, Toxicology, Global Health, US, UME, GME, Fellowships) and faculty to advance research, innovation and discovery across the entire emergency care service line. The IDEAS VC will also partner with the school of medicine (SOM), Emory Health Care (EHC), Core labs, and facilities to align strategic research goals and metrics. The VC IDEAS will also develop collaboration and partnerships with key external stakeholders such as Biolocity, Georgia Research Commission, Georgia Tech, UGA, Georgia State, and other regional entities to build coalitions and research infrastructure.
MINIMUM Requirements
Education:
• MD PHD, MD, DO, or PHD
Experience:
• Associate Professor or Professor
• 10 years of emergency research experience,
• Masters or higher level of training in research related or entrepreneurial field,
• Track record of continuous research funding, preferably Federal fund such as NIH/CDC/DoD
• Evidence of strong leadership skills and ability to navigate a large academic center
• Mindset and training in innovation, entrepreneurial, and Design Thinking are a plus
