Responsibilities
• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
• Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
Requirements
• BA Degree preferred in Accounting or Finance or equivalent years of business accounting experience
• 1-3 years of AR or business accounting experience preferred
• Must have data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software Sage 100
• Must have strong written, oral, and business communication skills
• Must have an intermediate working knowledge of all MS Office products
Desired Skills & Experience
• Good interpersonal skills to create a congenial work environment with team members, and management
• Have good temperate to handle disputes and emergencies
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Ability to think analytically and to evaluate, resolve or escalate client requests as needed
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization (internally and externally)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Additional Requirements
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk, working on a computer, time answering phone calls, and speaking on the phone
• Must have a private dedicated workspace (the position is remote except for training and meeting with Supervisor in the Ontario, CA area)
• Must have an authorized US work visa upon hire
• Must have Broadband Internet that uses DSL, fiber optics, or cable
• Must have a router or modem capable of hosting multiple devic
