GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Loan Servicing Specialist works with homeowners, Escrow Agents, Relators and others to ensure responsibility and assumption of loans given by Dividend Finance for solar installations that are tied to residential property. This role will be responsible for tracking, identifying and modifying distressed accounts.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. Operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, you will achieve results while consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
This position is located in our San Diego, CA office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Has communication with homeowners surrounding Loan Transfers, UCCs, Modifications, Bankruptcy, and Subordinations
• Initiates outbound contact for properties listed for sale to ensure for payoff of loan or monitor loan assumption to buyer
• Drafts waivers and other documents determined by the Legal team for files where loan panels have been moved to another address
• Routinely corresponds with third party real estate agents, escrow agents, mortgage lenders, current Dividend Finance customers and Buyers interested in purchasing homes with solar panels financed through Dividend Finance
• Coordinates partial payment delivery and receipt of 30% ITC payments prior to transferring loan, or requests sales and appraisal information if sellers are requesting ITC waiver
• Manually drafts contingent assumption agreement (new homeowner loan contract) using account statement from loan servicing department with high attention to detail to reflect correct figures and dates for when payment switches from seller to buyer
• Review open accounts for modification purposes
• Make outbound efforts in a professional manner while maintaining customer relations
• Work with vendors to coordinate modification processing
• Identify issues with account delinquency and drafting loan modification terms within company compliance and credit facility guidelines
• Proactively work with borrowers and provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements
• Compile data and reports as needed to provide weekly activity and status reporting
• Strong ability to analyze data in order to effectively identify and manage stressed accounts
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a loan servicing and/or telecommunications environment
• Experience with real estate transactions
• Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks
• Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
• Experience with Salesforce
• Customer Service experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Summary:
The Cloud Solution Engineer drives the implementation, migration, and administration of current and future Cloud initiatives and resources. As the company’s subject matter expert for Cloud operations, the role partners with business and other technical SMEs across the enterprise in designing and implementing solutions. GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Loan Resolution Specialists work hand-in-hand across multiple departments including legal, compliance, operations, customer support and servicing. Providing the highest quality customer service while working with our customers to identify and remedy any issues that may arise.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. Operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, you will achieve results while consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicates with early stage delinquent customers via outbound collection calls/emails/texts to resolve delinquency and reduce losses; recommends appropriate payment programs where applicable to assist customers experiencing a financial hardship
Promptly handles inbound customer calls/emails/texts directly or transferred from third-party sub-servicer related to delinquency, hardship, complaints, system shut-off, or loan assumptions
Communicates as necessary to third-party servicer account changes or required adjustments
Confers with existing customers by telephone and/or email in an attempt to resolve escalated complaint issues not related to product/contractor performance
Performs skip tracing activities as needed to locate and contact delinquent customers
Document all customer interactions/account activities with concise and detailed account notes
Adhere to all Dividend policies and procedures, including State and Federal collection regulations

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of Collections and Customer Service Experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and report to several managers
A high level of enthusiasm, collegial attitude, and a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks

What is the opportunity?
As an Operations Associate II, you will be a dedicated resource for the Dividend and Bond Payments team. This team pays cash dividends on equities and UITs (Unit Investment Trusts) as well as interest and principal payments on bonds. The team also manages the Dividend Reinvestment Program (DRIP), removal of worthless securities, and the liquidation of fractional shares.

As an Operations Associate II, you will be a dedicated resource for the Dividend and Bond Payments team. This team pays cash dividends on equities and UITs (Unit Investment Trusts) as well as interest and principal payments on bonds. The team also manages the Dividend Reinvestment Program (DRIP), removal of worthless securities, and the liquidation of fractional shares.

• Provide accurate processing support for standardized and manual processes.
• Accurately review, verify and/or record data into systems supporting department processes.
• Understand department procedures and required accountabilities.
• Liaise and provide customer service support on issues requiring research and problem resolution. Understand and utilize information from other Operation's departments, RBC Business Units, external customers or industry participants.
• Address escalated questions independently; seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate.
• Reduce risk by suggesting process changes or modifications as appropriate

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
• 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ year of job-related experience
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with high attention to detail and level of accuracy and able to maintain composure under pressure.
• Ability to work with sensitive, proprietary, and non-public information and maintain confidentiality
