Responsibilities:

Load, deliver and pick up food carts, count milk and juice accurately. Delivers grocery and supplement orders, returning signed order sheets to office. Follow established procedures including maintaining accurate vehicle logs for performing these functions. Use assigned vehicle properly and as directed to make deliveries. Safely drive assigned motor vehicle ensuring daily safety check of lights, brakes, oil level and gas fill-up are in compliance. Ensure keys to vehicles are returned to proper place when not being used.

Assist in cleaning and sanitizing the food service department. Sweep and mop food service building areas as assigned. Remove trash from all areas, keep kitchen areas clean and sanitary. Remove trash and cardboard from kitchen and take to appropriate areas (recycling/dumpsters).

Work on tray line, pot room and perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

Must be able to work a 40-hour work week.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid Florida Driver’s License to apply for this position. (If initially hired with an out-of-state license the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida State driver’s license within 30-days of hire. License suspended or revoked for any reason, work permits (Business purpose/Employment/Education only license) and some types of restricted license are not acceptable. License that have “Corrective Lenses Restricted,” are acceptable, provided the driver wears the corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.

This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.

This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a highly responsible position within the Bureau of Dealer Services. This position investigates consumer complaints filed against mobile home, recreational vehicle and motor vehicle dealers/dealerships and is responsible for preparing administrative cases. Additionally, this position conducts record inspections of franchised and independent motor vehicle, mobile home and recreational dealers. Compliance Examiners assist existing and prospective dealers with the licensing process and inspects all initial dealer locations within an assigned territory. The incumbent enforces laws related to titles, registrations, and liens with Florida licensed dealers and verifies vehicle identification numbers.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Knowledge of automotive parts and repairs.
• Skill operating personal computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Skill in dealing with customers from varied backgrounds in stressful public contact situations effectively and efficiently in a tactful and courteous manner.
• Skill collecting and reviewing data.
• Skill performing investigative work.
• Skill in understanding, interpreting and applying rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Skill in preparing accurate and complete written reports.
• Skill evaluating applications for licensure or permitting.
• Skill preparing correspondence.
• Knowledge of the Florida Real-Time Vehicle Information System (FRVIS).

Position Related Requirements:

This position requires the incumbent to have and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing. A driver's license history review will be conducted on all candidates in consideration for the position.

Out-of-town travel and occasional overtime are required (including Saturday and Sunday).
This position works in both controlled indoor environments, as well as, outdoors (exposed to weather and inside enclosed vehicles or equipment) and requires standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, crouching, stooping, crawling, bending, climbing and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Incumbents will be required to wear a division uniform.

• The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
