POSITION:
The Sales Associate/Front Desk (Wellness Advisor) assists the General Manager with new membership sales as well the retention of current members. The Wellness Advisor provides superior customer service while assisting new and current students in class selections, answering membership questions, and transacting merchandise purchases. We expect you to be excited about meeting and greeting our customers and be part of building a strong YogaSix community. You are expected to make phone calls and other outreach communications to studio prospects and members on a daily basis.
You must be be able to work 4-7 hours per shift, depending on the class schedule each day.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills, must be comfortable making outbound phone calls to people who have indicated interest in our yoga studio (no "cold calling")
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Daily and/or occasional travel may be required within Monmoth County, NJ
• Attend special events and trainings as needed
• Part time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execute full sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closing the sale
• Meet and exceed sales goals as established by the General Manager
• Conduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport to facilitate sales
• Be knowledgeable about products, programs and pricing
• Emphasize and enforce objectives of the studio as a fitness and wellness provider
• Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
• Participate in grassroots/community events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studio
• Assists with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment, and upkeep of the studio
• Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
• Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide exceptional client service
• Genuine ability to connect with complete strangers on a personal level
• Willingness to grow and remain a student forever
• A sense of humor
• Demonstrate the ability to teach a safe, fun, and creative class with a genuine interest in student success, whether novice or seasoned practitioner
• Complete the YogaSix "The Bridge" training sessions in a timely manner, and continue ongoing training updates
• Be ready to accept and absorb feedback into your ongoing learning experience
• Minimum 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification
• 1+ years teaching experience required
• Over time, gain experience on at least 4 of the 6 YogaSix class styles, and ultimately master all 6 classes
• Current CPR Certification, or attend a CPR class within 3 months of hire
• Light studio prep and cleaning before and after class
• Must teach 2-3 days per week, 3-4 sessions per week. 3-4 days per week preferred, and cover 3-6 classes per week, including Holidays and weekends
Screened candidates will be invited to provide a 7-10 minute audition video (guidelines and instructions will be provided)
Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience/ability/formats. • Quickbooks and payroll (ADP preferred) experience is a must
• Project manage various initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently
• Provide support for the finance and operations teams as needed, including weekly and monthly sales reporting
• Annual support for tax returns and other compliance-related activities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Quickbooks and Excel
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue growth
• Help submit applications for grants and other financial sourcing
Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in bookkeeping and project management tasks
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in bookkeeping and project management required (5+ years)
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, filters, etc.) and data sorting
• Comfortable working in web-based systems, such as CRM, Reporting and tracking tools
• Passion for the fitness industry, specifically yoga preferred
• Local to Monmouth County preferred (all our studios will be within Monmouth County)
