Job Responsibilities:
• Build and operate Linux-based systems in both public cloud and colocation environments
• Manage the lifecycle of open-source and custom services that power all aspects of our business, including authentication, logging, metrics, code repos, secrets management, and more
• Accelerate our ability to deploy infrastructure safely and reliably via automation and delivery pipelines
• Modernize legacy services by redeploying as containers or new virtual machines
• Deploy, manage, and monitor databases and data flows, including replication and high availability
• Help mentor other engineers to improve their skill sets and the team’s overall ability to deliver
• Work with other engineering teams to help deliver upgrades to services and infrastructure
• Reduce business risk by mapping and implementing security and business continuity compliance requirements
• Improve and refine logging, monitoring, metrics-gathering and visualization
• Write and maintain operational documentation for new and existing systems
• Participate in an on-call rotation with fellow team members
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in Linux systems engineering roles
• Proven ability to automate using scripts, config management, and CI pipelines using modern deployment patterns
• Experience supporting customer-facing SaaS products
• Experience building and supporting virtualization and container platforms
• Experience managing infrastructure in both public cloud and physical data center environments
• Willing to dive into problems that are new, ambiguous, or complex

Description DomainTools is seeking an Integrations Engineer to work in a position dedicated to integration of our data and systems into other security products. As an Integrations Engineer, you'll build and extend a suite of software projects ranging from integration apps built in specific frameworks to plugins and pull requests for open source projects. You'll dive in, learn how the third-party product works, master its app dev framework, and then add new capabilities built on DomainTools' amazing DNS and domain profile data. You'll also have opportunities to contribute code to our core products as we work to integrate them directly with the security products our customers already use to defend their networks. This diverse set of opportunities makes this job exciting - you'll likely have an entirely different context to work in every few weeks, and you'll have the opportunity to thrive by learning new APIs, new frameworks, and new security products. Most of this work is done in... Python and JavaScript. Ideally, you'll also have dabbled in other languages so you can bring those skills to bear as needed. Location:
Remote within the United States Requirements Job Responsibilities Develop, extend, and support DomainTools' integrations with SEIMs, TIPS, orchestration platforms, open source security projects, and similar systems Help maintain development, testing, and demo environments for integration systems Become a subject matter expert on the DomainTools integration APIs Work with the sales and support engineering teams to help diagnose customer issues Contribute to customer-facing technical documentation Analyze new security products targeted for integration and help the product team create meaningful use cases and feature sets Add features to DomainTools' core products that integrate them more closely with third-party security tools Key Applicant Qualifications 2
years software engineering experience Strong Python skills, plus experience in other technologies commonly used in integrations such as JavaScript, React, and HTML/CSS Experience building integrations with user-interface components Demonstrated experience using APIs to integrate disparate systems Experience with operations and development in a Linux/Unix environment, able to set up and extend internal development, test, and demo integration environments Able to work independently among a small development team, prioritizing customer and team outcomes over individual accolades Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, able to work independently Pluses Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience Experience managing AWS, VMWare, and Container systems Experience with software such as Splunk, Splunk SOAR (formerly Phantom), LogRhythm, the ELK stack, and other large log data processing and mining systems Design, implementation and/or maintenance of CI/CD automation and tooling Prior experience working in the security space Understanding of/practical experience with SEIMs, TIPs, or other security systems.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
