The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager, is a champion of their people and a brand representative who aligns with and reinforces the company values, goals and mission statement while ensuring AlamoDrafthouse Cinemas’ standards of quality and service are achieved consistently. • Develop team to build bench and execute L&D as a means of improving retention❏ Uphold standards of facility and equipment within venue
• Demonstrates and shares knowledge of competitors and market for better positioning and sales
• Thought partner to Senior Operations Leadership for improving processes and/or programs
• Capitalizes on opportunities to enhance and expand audience and experiences
• Understands, analyzes and speaks to P&L and GL each period and identifies areas of opportunity and maximize efficiency.
• Continuously develops the salaried managers in their venue
• Delivers performance/goal reviews of salaried team on a quarterly basis
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven leadership and motivational skills along with displaying a professional appearance and being a positive role model. Must hold self and others accountable to consistently maintain high performance and behavior standards
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 to 4 years as a high-volume Front of House Manager or Assistant General Manager
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite) and office skills required
• Possesses strong skills in problem solving, guest relations, verbal and written communication, along with the ability to multitask projects simultaneously

• Supports the delivery of food and beverage orders as business dictates
Qualifications
• 1+ years experience in high volume food production environment
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment

• Schedule flexibility - early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
• Active food handlers certification with the applicable state agency
• Being a cinephile is a plus
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to execute light lifting, up to 50 lbs
