Job Description:

Abora Travel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Independent Travel Advisors to join our dynamic team. If you have a deep love for travel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to craft unique itineraries, we want you to be a part of our team. You will have autonomy in your business with the guidance, support, and expertise of a seasoned travel agent.

This is a commission only position and you will be required to pay for your training with Dream Vacations, associate fees, Errors and Omission Insurance, and technology fees. Currently the initial training and onboarding is $795 and then an annual cost of $400 per year.

For U.S. Veterans or Active-Duty Military Spouses the training fee is waived and you will only pay the $400 per year starting with the the first year.

Responsibilities:
• Understand and anticipate clients' travel needs, preferences, and budget.
• Create customized travel itineraries, including booking flights, accommodations, and experiences.
• Provide expert advice on travel destinations, activities, and cultural insights.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service.
• Stay updated on the latest travel trends, industry news, and destination information.
• Collaborate with suppliers, tour operators, and other industry professionals.
• Handle booking confirmations, payments, and documentation efficiently.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Travel Advisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of popular travel destinations, cultures, and trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Proficiency in travel booking platforms and reservation systems.
• Customer-focused approach and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Sales or marketing experience is a plus.
• A passion for travel and the ability to share that passion with clients.

• Analyze data from various sources (Cognos, Cruise Control, Sugar CRM, etc.), identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Act as the liaison with our SEO team to drive strategy and increase our organic search results via keyword research and landing page optimization
