• Develop and manage long- and short-term upgrade plans for
athletic & recreational facilities. Work directly with Drexel's
Planning, Designing, and Construction Office and attend all
scheduled construction meetings throughout the duration of a
project.
• Serve as game day manager for designated intercollegiate
athletic events including Field Hockey, Wrestling, and Men’s
Lacrosse.
• Serve as facility manager for Men’s and Women’s Basketball home
events and assist with planning and oversight of CAA & NCAA
championship events.
• Act as Department liaison for external TV/video production
crews for Home athletic events. Participate in meetings and
walk-throughs leading up to the events.
• Assist department with all A/V related questions, issues, and
purchases; act as point of contact for projects that have an A/V
component to it.
• Work closely with the Director of Athletic Video Services for
all purchases and installations of equipment that are related to
the Video Boards, or for the live video stream production for home
athletic events.
• Oversee the Instant Replay System. Work with Instant Replay
manufacturer and CAA for all software upgrades, and schedule and/or
facilitate training with replay operators.
• Act as primary contact for Daktronics, the department’s
scoreboard and video board provider and schedule all service needs
and purchase all replacement or upgraded equipment.
• Department lead in testing and servicing the hardware for the
Daktronics Video Equipment in the Daskalakis Athletic Center (DAC)
Basketball Arena.
• Provide oversight of Arena LED Lighting Control System.
• Works directly with University A/V consultant on design phase
for all capital projects.
• Manage contracts and relationships of third-party vendors who
perform preventative maintenance at the athletic & recreational
facilities.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and seasonal service of 3
synthetic turf fields at the Vidas Athletic Complex.
• Work with Drexel’s Director of Grounds in the planning process
for the installation and break-down of the seasonal air-support
structure that encloses 3 outdoors tennis courts at the Vidas
Athletic Complex.
• Serve as main contact to third-party contracted landscaping
vendor, which provides landscape maintenance service, snow and ice
control, trash pick-up, and practice and game preparation set-up
and break-down for all athletic events at the Vidas Athletic
Complex.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with the Account Manager and the
Director of Grounds.
• Schedule and facilitate trainings for facilities staff; work
with Health and Safety office on facilitating trainings.
• Report and track all facility maintenance and custodial issues
and concerns through the University work order system.
• Oversee Annual Work Order operating budget and lead biweekly
meetings/walk-throughs with University Facilities Trades
Managers.
• Supervise Coordinator of Athletic Facilities.
• Work directly with the Athletics Business Office in the
submission of all required paperwork for third-party vendors.
• Coordinate purchasing and budget management for all facility
and athletic related equipment.

Required Qualifications
