The objective and focus of this position is to assist the Professional Development (PD) Senior Manager with the integration of incoming attorneys into the firm, coordinate resources during their transition, and facilitate the development of these attorneys through the Path to Partnership process. This position also supports the Professional Development team generally on various tasks and the PD Senior Manager with the attorney performance management process and other initiatives, as needed.

On a typical day you will:
• Facilitate the attorney mentor program with oversight and support from the Professional Development Senior Manager. This includes both logistical and administrative tasks as well as general oversight of the program and improvements. The coordination of the program includes tracking new hires, working with Practice Group leaders for mentor pairings, and follow-up with new hires on their general integration
• Organize and create mentor pairings for incoming Summer Associates and First Year Associates
• Facilitate the Path to Partnership Program with oversight and support from the Professional Development Senior Manager. This includes tracking eligibility for the program, working with Practice Group leaders on meeting scheduling as well as material preparation. Tasks will also include general program oversight and potential process updates and improvement
• Create and update tip sheets and other materials relating to attorney integration, mentorship and path-to-partnership
• Coordinate Attorney Parental Leave Transition Program which pairs attorneys taking parental leave with additional mentor support
• Guide the use of VI Integrate across firm departments for firm laterals relating to mentorship pairings and other aspects as needed
• Maintain general Professional Development outlook inbox
• Track new attorney hires and create onboarding materials for PD Director and Manager check-ins
• Collaborate with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) on any attorney mentoring programs within DEI affinity groups
• Collaborate with Senior Manager of Attorney Training and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Compliance and the Early Career Associate Development Manager on firmwide initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
Join us if you have:
• BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education
• 1+ years of experience in professional office. Experience in professional services talent development, professional development, HR, or similar area strongly preferred. Previous experience in a law firm or professional services organization, supporting a multi-office environment, preferred

The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $73,000 - $81,000 ($37.44 - $41.54 hourly).
